God i feel like i havent seen anybody in ages :( which makes me super sad face
although there was Freehouse on wednesday

it was confusing until the end, then it got good
then i watched him play a little games called mass effect
it was actually kinda interesting to watch
but i still fell asleep

Today was exciting in lots of ways
While i was in the kitchens, makin sandwiches, these alarms startgoing off. I initially thought it was a false alarm so i didnt move until some guy came running in yelling at me to get out get out!
Lol, so i slowly grabbed my jacket and went outside where more guys were like DONT LIGHT A SMOKE THERES A GAS LEAK, MOVE MOVE MOVE
So i wandered back to my building, the Concourse where everyone who had been evacuated from Atrium was taking refuge. There was probably like 200 or more ppl just chillin. Then all of a sudden everyone wanted coffee, so we got raped. But it wasnt a big deal, the customers were pretty inderstanding that we werent prepared for that many ppl

Today is also my last day of chemistry
that excites me greatly
regaurdless of how i do
cause its my own god damn fault
blah

Oh and i guess my Feb trip is in Calgary, not Edmonton haha. Ive never been to Calgary before, only driven thru it.
Maybe ill get to see Hannah :)

This is where my brain melts

I am currently writing my essay for Chem on the properties of water...and its super boring. So a quick blog should prevent any further brain melting. At least for the moment!



Today went by stupid slow considering Monday felt like it flew by.

Since mom left this morning i decided that there was no way my car would even make it out of the driveway with all this stupid snow. So i took the lexus suv haha

I felt pretty ballin until i got to the parking lot and realized that my parking permit was still in the Nissan. :(

I tried parking in the visitor spot, but the meter was frozen and all my money just got stuck in the slot. so that was a fail

my solution? I wrote a note saying "i am an employee of Boffins food and event services. I forgot my pass today. Plz do not ticket me"

did it work?

In regards to food and company, it was a good day

Im sorry to say that doug made the most delicious vegetarian pizza i have ever had. guess his cooking skills makes up for his mean disposition :)

Had a bunch of good laughs with the ladies. One being every time Courteny said my name i would perk up like a freakin poodle, assuming she wanted me to do something or there was a customer. alas, she just likes to bug me haha

i think we were all kinda giddy



oh yeah! sarah called at one point and was like "yeah the rep from starbucks is coming today so you guys gotta hide all the torani products"

so we went crazy trying to hide it all before this rep got there

little did we know she had shown up 30 seconds after i got off the phone and was just standing there watching us desperately try to hide shit >_<

then she made us go thru a bunch of espresso making procedures. after each test she basically laughed and told us how we were all trained so so so wrong lol

not our faults tho. you can lay that blame on Kaeley.



Found out i might go to edmonton feb 13-14. had a good time with that info :) we'll see tho, i dont really understand the details yet...

Went straight home after work. Started chemistry of course
and now that ive talked about my day
i suppose i shall get back to that

Feeling so right

I am in a freaking good mood. So there :)
Last night Cortlin and I went to Nagoya to try out their all you can eat sushi. And to be honest it did not come even close to the quality of New Island. I know i complain that the service at new island is kinda iffy, but this place is way worse. The servers speak way better english but still forget halfof the stuff we ordered. and the seaweed was cheewy. i did not enjoy lol
AFter we just watched movies with Curtis cause thats what all the cool kids do on friday nights right?
Lol, im lame. but i needed a chill night.

This morning i got a new mattress which excited me greatly caus emy old one was hard as rock and made me sad. technically the one i got was my rents old one but its all fancy and soft so i like it. I just gotta not think about what they did on it.....which they didnt.....cause my rents dont fornicate....

Back to chemistry, you foul villain

D-day

K so my last blog was a little dramatic haha. I emailed my teacher, he brought one of my assignments from a fail to an 87 haha. so he was much more generous then i ever could have hoped. And hes gonna unlock the second assignment i fucked up on so that i can redo it :)
in short, he is awesome

SO today i took the day off work to do chem. I feel bad cause work was supposed to be dead as hell, but turns out it was crazy? weird
sorry ladies :(

but i got alot done tho. Like two chapter done so far. the last two i can for sure finish in time to do my final by tuesday at the latest
so it was a worth while day for sure

tonight im goin for supper
then study perhaps
who knows?
unless something comes up

I get stuff....and do an assignment. and then i make the tiniest most stupid mistakes that fuck me over completely.
so im gonna email my teacher and appeal the marks, ask him if i can even get partial marks....

Day 6

Today was a grand day. I started out super tired, but then Sarah called and said i could have tomorrow off to do my chemistry!!! so im very grateful for that! I better put it to good use or else...

Few funny things happened today
First these engineers ordered this big desk (i initially thought it was a couch) and were trying to carry it up the stairs. The worst part is that the desk was at least twelve feet long, and the staircase did not only have three sharp turns in it, but it was impossible to get this thing up there. So it was super funny to watch them just be all Dur and all. So i went and took a couple pictures on my phone and they were like "hey thats not very nice. Its not funny"
oh....but it is
it makes me giggle quite alot

Then Chris came to get a smoothie as per usual, so Courteny went and dumped the entire container of ice into the sink right in front of him. It was funny, he screamed like a girl

Something else happened....
oh yeah!
ut involved the beautiful tall greek god of a police officer (K9 until lol) who appeared behind me in a suit while i was stocking the fridge and he was like "Excuse me Megan, you're in the way"

Yesterday was work-like lol and thats about as exciting as it gets
I asked Sarah if i could have friday off to do my chemistry, and she better say yes cause i planned it so well. Amec has the day off which means over 300 ppl will be gone, cutting our clientell down by at least 80%. so its gonna be a slow day
they dont need me

Chelsey asked me to go to Ontario with her at the end of the month. Something about a large amount of hockey players playing hockey and lots of party party party boys boys boys
im broke
and my rents will be gone so i need to take care of the dogs haha
so i cant see it happening
she had originally told me it was in March, which would have been cool. Not feb tho

Day 4

Ive decided that things are not going to turn out the way that i want them too.
Why do i know this? cause i get this gut feeling, but not just any gut feeling, it comes from like the lower right side (my right) of my body, and its all weird. I rarely get this gut feeling, but when i do, it is never wrong.
So yes, instead of thinking about it so much.

Day 3

Today sucked. So before i talk about today, lets talk aboutlast night
Las night Bob made a super delicious greek rib dinner with nummy asparagus for the fam plus grandpa plus patty.
Unfortunately it made me feel sick for some reason. I imagine it was thanks to sat nights drinking.

After supper i went and picked up Chelsey and we went to see Youth In Revolt.
It was cute, but nothing special
Michael Cera plays the same socially awkward character in every movie he plays, and he plays it well. The girlfriends character confused me the whole time. She had no facial expression whatsoever and i was just waiting for her to diss Cera and rip his heart out. Turns out she loved him?
lol

But yeah, today was just a really long day
I realized that every single song on the planet is somehow indirectly or directly related to a relationship haha. so that made for interesting conversation at least
I just had no energy it seemed...

Oh, we did get a new girl tho to replace Paula. Her name is Lacy and she is 22 and i have no idea how i feel about her yet. we're guessing based on her physical looks that Chris doesnt have a chance with her tho haha she seems like the type who would only date a gangster or a boy with tattoos...
not that i shouldjudge based on looks. apparently everyone thought i was gonna be a huge snooty bitch when i started >_< IM JUST SHY AND LACK FACIAL EXPRESSION

Day 2

Just got home from delicious dim sum with Jordan and Liz, so i figure now's a good time to update the blog before i start doing chemistry :(

Last night was pretty fun.
Bob drove Liz and I to Dinos at six for the Mock Wedding beer night. After a very hillarious exit from the car by Liz, where she dangled helplessly over a puddle haha, we went inside. Everyone was dressed up soooo nice, it was actually kinda cool.
So we had a few drinks until James arrived, and then he left again to drive his car home and get a ride back so that he could drink.
While he was gone this guy named Scott came up and sat down, and started tellin me and Liz a bunch of random stories that i dont remember much lol. The whole time he was sketchin, thinkin James was gonna come back lol. When he did come back Scott proceeded to oh so sneakily dump a glass of ice out under the table and then filled it with beer bein like, dude james! i got u a beer!
and that is how their friendship began haha

Then the buses started to leave for TCU but we didnt actually participate in the beer night so they said we had to pay ten bucks to get on the bus, and that did not fly with us so Lizs dad came and drove us :)

Got to TCU, went down into the same room that our grad was :( it mademe remember the old days, and i got kinda sad about it, not gonna lie haha. Life seemed so much simpler and optimistic back then!
But yeah, one of the organizers of the event bought the three of us drinks for some reason, what a doll. and they served cesars!! gah i was so pumped about that.
so we had a few more drinks
ran into Tanis and Arielle so we talked to them a bit.havent seen tanis since grad, but it feels like i havent talked to her since grade eight. so that was cool

James found Scott haha, so he ran over to him and whatnot.
also saw Katrina and SAMS LITTLE SISTER haha. I made a bee line for her and she was like im 19 im 19 im 19 im 19....tonight.....dont tell sam. >_<

The band they brought in was horrible. They dressed up like the beatles and were just gay, then they dressed up like someone else and were also gay
wired 96.3 did the dj in between, and even that i liked better then the band

Met this kid named Travis. he bought us shots, nasty nasty shots. but that was cool of him.
Then out of no where i see Katlan Dorval, a childhood friend of mine that i havent seen in at least two years. so i ran up to him and hugged him, and oh man. He was soooooo wasted. he had no idea who i was for like 30 seconds haha. Then hes like "oh....my....god. Megan! im......really....sorry.....drunk....so drunk"
so that was a very shirt conversation >_<

Kayla P. was there and OMG she was so hillarious. i love her :)
Around 12? my mom came and drove James, Liz, Kayla and I to Josh's. On the way Kayla asked what my mom did and james was like, shes a part time super model.
so kayla was like "ohmy god! how tall are you?"
"5'6"
"Thats gives me so much hope!!! What advice do you have for me Karen?"
"Dont give up"
"Wow, thats so lame. but so true!"
It was easily the best conversation of the night. and from now on im gonna call my mom Karen the supermodel :)

So we get to Josh's. got to see everyone there for like an hour. Then the lovely Matt Roy drove me home :) so thankyou matt!

Yeah, i felt a little gross this morning. I know i said i wouldnt drink at all in january.....but i definitely needed to drink last night.
I think my tolerance is going up, but how my body handles it is getting worse. im actually getting hungover now, and it sucks balls :(

Oh, and at dim sum, i looked at my tea leaves, and there was a huge 3 in it. Any ideas on what this could mean? Jordan guessed i was gonna die in three days lol
im thinkin its a reference to bad things happen in 3s?

chemistry, here i come

Day 1

SO last night i went and saw Book of Eli with +10 ppl haha. it was a nice big group
I liked it alot actually. Yeah, the pace was kinda slow and all, but the idea behind it was really cool.

After the movie we all went over to Josh's house for a bit
i saw a dead mouse in a trap
so that made me sad face :(

But i wasnt drinking and forsome reason just felt unsocial

and as soon as i got home, i got right back in my car and drove around until 1:30 in the morning.
just too many thoughts rattling around in my stupid stupid head
driving forces me to focus on something
so it was good

but now i need to put gas in my car :(

Goodnight brain

today i went to work
it was frustrating...i think....there were some good parts....but my brain feels all melty like :(

after work i went to the mall to try and find a Mock Wedding dress
no dice
i think im just gonna wear what i wore on new years? jazz it up some how? maybe I'll add a camera and take away the tequilla. Then perhaps ill remember the night haha

After that i went and met Bo Do at Noodle King and Icecream Queen for supper
he had sushi/vietnamese noodles
i had noodle soup
it was super delicious :)
I missed that boy. Although all his stories do involve him getting drunk and almost getting in fights haha. Hes a goodboy at heart
i think he shrunk since i last saw him....

went to the LB with cortlin to get prices for SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS. lol

Antichrist = Lolwhy

This weekend was a gooder i think..
Friday night i went to see Antichrist with James Cortlin and Chelsey A.
Let's just say that when the movie ended, all i could say was "im sorry" haha
The first two minutes you get to see the Green Goblins real life penis passionately pounding some chick. From there on it was downhill on the see-with-your-friends comfort level.
It involved balls being smashed with hunks of wood, violent sex, and that fucking crazy lady taking a pair of sissors to her lady parts. It was pretty nasty., very detailed and spared no shame haha
so basically none of them will ever let me live it down :(
But i am glad that i got to hang out with Chelsey. she can pick the movie next time...

After that James Cortlin and I stopped at Subway so they could munch, dropped them off at James' then went to get my lovely Liz.
Then we went back to James, they pre-drank a bit. Then we all headed out to Whiskey Jacks where we met Chelsea G, Maria, Kim and etc etc. It was good, but i felt like a downer cause i was so sober and in this really just sad mood.
Laughed at the screamo girl doing kareoke, who Matt fell in love with and then ended up talking to her for a good while :) lol go matt
got to see chelsea drunk which is awesome haha
At one point Liz and i walked over to Macs so i could eat something. got some mini eggs. which were delicious :)
Yeha, then i left with Mat Johnny and Cortlin around 1:30 i believe. Drove them home.

Saterday morning i woke up at seven for some painful reason, then after some difficulty got together with Matt and Cortlin for dim sum. delicious as always lol
After we went to the blood doner clinic cause i promised matt i would watch him give blood in an attempt to get over my fear of needles.
the minute i walked into that place, i started to feel light headed and my heart started to race a bit, so that was an excellent start.
cortlin went and told the nurse about my fear so that sucked haha. she psyched me out SO bad, sayin to spit out my gum and sit back in my chair so i could pass out comfortably -_- so ya, i must have turned white cause she told me to just go and get a coffee.
no conquering of fears today i guess.

After that Cortlin drove us home, i went with my mom to go and look at paint colors for the bathrooms. i chose a mocha accent with a light espresso haha so theres my day time coffee job showing up in my bathroom now.
Then we went grocery shopping, and ya, i was running on like three hours of sleep, so i was super tired. I turned a corner and hit this guys shins, he was wearing this horrible orange jacket. so i appologized and continued on my way. My mom starts laughing and was like "do u know who that was? You just hit the mayor"
:( awe poo. doesnt he have ppl for that?

Then i went to see Daybreakers with James Josh Cortlin Matt and Johnny
it was pretty decent. I liked how they followed the whole vampire rules abetter then most vamp movies i have seen lately. the concept was cool too
except for the vamps violently exploding when they were staked. that was stupid
after that Cortlin and I went and made pizza. watched 3/4 of Caligula and then got bored and confused so we went to James' :)
watched the guys play demos of video games for a bit. Bayonetta looks AWESOME johnny haha
dante's inferno looks like a shit starter haha
but i got super tired so when everyone else went to Broadway bars and such, i went and watched Jennifer's Body haha
cause im super duper cool like that

so yeah, last night i had a dream that i finished all my chemistry
imagine my sadness when i woke up and i was still 3/8 chapters done with less then two weeks to finish
haha im fucked
so that is what my life is going to consist of for the next two weeks
work
and chemistry.

Belated Christmas Update

So, as the Christmas break draws to a close, i suppose i should attempt a quick recap on what all went down

Christmas was different this year, thats for sure
But still, it was filled with love and happiness. And really, what else do i need?
besides my snuggie
that i definently needed :-p

New years was a gong show
i appologize for the various comments/noises i made?
my new years resolutions:
1. no more tequilla. period.
2. less drinking, please
3. hold on to only what is good in life

Because this break has not only shown me that, traditions change. But that doesnt have to be a bad thing. My dad wasn't around this year, and its hard to accept that it may stay that way. But through that I got to reach out to my grandfather who i havent seen in months. Ive never seen a man's eyes light up like his did when Kayla and I showed up for a visit.
So yeah, things may change. But really, they dont have to change that much.

Another thing that i have learned to appreciate are the truly genuine people I have in my life. To all my friends, thank you.
Endless love is all i have for you haha.

All in all it was a great break.
went by way too fast :(
and i dont get another break until feb?!?!?!
