I am a waste of Resources

I was a lazy piece of shit this weekend.
Friday Cortlin has a handful of people over to just chill. Kinda nice to just sit around and talk though, we don't get to do that too often. After everyone left we decided to watch the Social Network. It was super fantastic, I really really liked it :) I think I may actually have to buy this one.

Got up the next morning and went to start my car so that we could meet everyone for dim sum. No dice, the cold killed my car. And I had boxed in Cortlin's car so we had to take the other one.
Dim sum was delicious as always :) Owen came for the first time ever, so I hope that we recruited another dim sum lover. So that was another chill chat time.
Then my mom called me and wanted me to come home. I assumed she wanted to hang out like we always do when the cleaners come, but turns out she just wanted me to pay the ladies haha. So I went out and did my own thing. Went to Amazing Stories to see if they had the new Fables in,. they did not. Then I went to McNally and got the new Dan Brown novel. So far it's pretty good. I'll add it to my pile of like eight books that I have to read.

Then I went back to Cortlin's and then began the most lazy day of my life.
I read for a good two hours.
Then we started watching movies.
Next thing I know it's eleven and the guys are telling me to come to Outlaws.
I remember standing up, thinking I was going to go. Then I looked down at myself. Jeans, sweater, my stupid floppy hat, shitty hair, holes in my socks.
Wasn't happening. I looked like poo poo.
So I felt like a piece of crap for saying no, expecially cause it was Josh's last night. But hopefully he forgives me :(
I was home by 1:30.

Next morning I was like, yes, I need to be productive today. Or do something.
So I went and saw Courteny's new place. It's fantastic, I'm super jealous how cute this place is. Lots of character, and I had no idea that City Park had such awesome renting houses.
We went to HomeSense, but I didn't find anything that screamed buy me now.
Although I plan on checking out Great West Furniture on 20th street on Saturday. Apparently its stupid cheap, so I must investigate.

Then I went home, worked out in an effort to not feel so poopy. Then I watched the Oscars.,
They were meh.
Best part was when they mashed up Harry Potter, Toy Story and Twilight into songs. Man, I laughed so hard.

And today is now Monday.
I think that I am already over this week.

Man of the hour

So Happy Birthday to Joshy-poo :)

Went to Winstons to celebrate him last night. It was fun, I enjoy just visiting lol. Hannah came too which was nice, she's never in town often so it's nice to catch up.
I left pretty early though, around eleven because I unlike all the lucky people I am friends with, had to work this morning :( And every other day lol.

I don't have too much else to report for this blog though.
Except that I am still tired.
Sigh.

Friday:
Work was the best day ever. I did a bunch of errands in the morning which made it fly by. Then my mom dropped by and brought me tea haha so that was most excellent. Then suddenly I hear this odd beeping noise and we loose all of our sasktel services. Internet, phones and security, all down. So I had nothing to do all afternoon except file. Bob came in too for a bit to grease some scrap metal.
After work Cortlin and I went grocery shopping for kraft dinner and hot dogs to make the most fancy dinner you ever seen. Jk, it was just grand.
Then we just hung out. And by hung out I mean I ate supper then fell asleep for two hours. Then got sass for it. Then Cortlin fell asleep for an hour. So I got to sass about it.
Worked out well.

Saturday:
Made the perfect omlette, which has always been a struggle for me, so I was super excited.
Then I went home and worked out, then took a nap.

I went to Amber's to do some pre-drinking before Josh's. It was fun, some good girl time.
Then we went to Josh's, and the whole night went downhill for me lol.
This is why I don't drink, Josh and Brittney have the perfect understanding of how I drink. One minute, I'm sober and just chillin, and the next I am a complete destroyed mess of a human being.
Least to say I don't recall the rest of the night. Just woke up at Cortlin's feeling like the master shit. I have never ever been so hungover in my life. I've never had to force myself to get sick before to try and relieve some of the pain.
It was brutal.

Sunday:
Cortlin somehow managed to drag me for dim sum with Cole and Matt. I had to focus on keeping it down the whole time haha. I got to see Kevin there though. I feel bad I probably looked at him all drunk with my blood shot eyes.
It was not an attractive day.
The guys wanted me to go to CC with them. I was tempted. But my bed was more tempting. So I went home and slept all day.

Monday:
Woke up with the intention of going to Regina with my mom to see Kayla.
Got shit on by Bob and thus ended up working at his warehouse all day. Curtosy of the extreme back ache I'm now rocking.
So that sucked.
But I did get to have sushi with Cortlin Johnny and Josh though, so that was most excellent.

Today:
Is Josh's 21st Birthday!!! Happy birthday!!!
So I think we're going to Louis for dollar beer night?
No, I'm not drinking anything.

Work is work and that's all that I have to say about that.

All you need to know is that there was a Brittney Spears music video marathon on last night and I watched it. Never been happier haha. Nostalgia at it's very best, I knew the words to every single song it was awesome.
Then at the end they showed her brand new video for Hold it Against Me.
It was meh. She had a bunch of stunt doubles I guess which is kinda sad considering she's still stupid young.

That's really the only great thing that happened yesterday.

And the day is going to fly because I have a million and one things to do.

Holy crap. It's already Thursday?
I've decided that life is going by way too fast :( Both my boss and I stared at the calendar in shock when I realized it's payday. Feels like we got paid last week, but oh well. I won't complain.

This week has been rather uneventful since V-day. All I've done is come home, had some soup or tuna and then worked out like a champion.
I'm getting to the point where working out has become a routine, and I don't even have to think about it anymore. But still, I wish I didn't have to.
Sigh.

Tomorrow is awesome Friday which is awesome.

I really want to win tickets to go and see Skrillex. I do not want to pay 30$ and then go pick them up. The thought of doing it makes me sad.
But we shall see what happens.

To the Cloud

So last night was Valentine's Day.

Work went by in like 20 minutes, it was so awesome. I just hope the rest of this week flys by as fast as yesterday did. Cause this weekend is going to kick ass. I'm going to get so wasted on Saturday that Josh is going to be unable to get me off his couch because I already call dibs haha.
Jk, I'll behave.

So after work I went home and just passed out into a wonderful nap. I didn't think I was that tired, but I guess I was. So much for my workout :(

Woke up around seven and had to get ready for the big Vday dinner with my baby :)
Got dressed up, then he picked me up at 7:30.
I'm really tempted to gush a bit, but I'll try not to.
Basically I adore this man.

Then we went to 2nd Ave Grill. It was packed and we got stuck in a corner way too close to another couple. But luckily they left pretty quick and we had our space. I got a pesto pasta which was excellent. Pesto is the bomb.

Yeah, it was nice. Nice night, nice food, nice Coco :)

Then I went home and went to bed and slept like a rock.

Today after work I have to go downtown which makes me sad :( But I need to get my perscription, and with my mom no longer working in the mall, I should probably switch pharmacys. Cause this is way too much effort.
I'm out of my shake meds though, so I'm gonna shake like a leaf all day. God damn.

Oh, and I ordered two more dresses off of ASOS.

Cupcakes in the Park

I don't really feel like blogging about the weekend to be honest.
I was in a blue mood the whole time and stayed in for most of it.

But thats over and done with :)
Now I'm pumped for this week and even more pumped for the weekend!
Cause Josh comes home :)
And Cole :)
And I hope Hannah :)

We're lookin for somthing Dumb to do..

Last night right after work I went to Wal-Mart and bought myself a kick ass crock pot for my future on my own. Mom thought it was a silly purchase, but I adore it.
Then I made a tuna curry chickpea salad thinger. Pretty delicious. That will be the second time I've eaten Tuna and curry this week, and I imagine I'll have it again tonight as I have leftovers!

At 6:30 I went down to SGI to get the damage on my car assessed.
Came out to 1500 bucks worth of damage. For such a tiny dent I was pretty shocked. I sure hope that the kid who hit me has good insurance! Lol

Then Cortlin and I went to see The Green Hornet.
Man, it was actually pretty good. It was way better then the commercial made it seem anyway. So we had some good laughs.

I didn't sleep much last night though. So this morning I feel like absolute crap, almost sick in a way. I hope it's just temporary though. If I get sick, heads will roll.

Can't smoke nothing in a Crock Pot

Yesterday after work I had every intention of going and doing some moving out shopping. Aka I just really wanted to buy a crock pot.
Alas, I had to get gas. As soon as I did that I got super lazy and just went home.
Made supper for mom and I. Curry parmesan tuna pasta with peppers. Turned out a hundred times better then I ever imagined it would considering I just threw shit in a pan if it smelled good.
I have a new love for curry. That shit is just so delicious.

Then I worked out and watched The A-Team, which is better then you think it is.
Then I decided I needed to hear the voice of a beauty named Hannah. So I called her up and chatted with her for a while.

We need to plan a Calgary trip for March I think.
Yes.
We do.

Oh the fun, oh the Sore limbs

How did I not blog at all last week?
Man

This weekend was super excellent. More fun then I ever expected. Probably because I went into the situation scared.
I went to the Outerbanks with Cortlins family as well as my boss' family as well as another family haha. Everyone else went up during the day, but since I had to work I went with Cortlin and Eckart at six. It was a slow drive up. It rained during the day so the roads were kind of icy, plus it started snowing.
You have to go up this hill into the forest and such to get to this cabin. once we got half way up the hill there was a fork in the road. One went up higher into the hills, and the other leaded deeper in. Cortlin and I couldn't remember which way it was, but recalled having to go past the first cabin, since there was two. So we figured that the road that went deeper was the right one.
HA
No.
We found out pretty quick that the road we took was in fact a snowmobile road aka nothing but three feet of snow that apppeared harmless. So we got uber stuck. Tried digging out the truck from under the truck, but that was no dice.
And to top it all off, the cell service up there is horrible. So I wandered around trying to find a signal to call the others who were already at the cabin. Finally got a hold of the guys and asked for help.
My directions were horrible. So they ended up looking for us in the opposite direction haha. Meanwhile we managed to get ourselves even more stuck, even furthur down the road of torture.
Thank god it was relatively warm out!
Brandon must have started to wonder where everyone was, because he came and found us on his snomobile. Eventually the other guys came too, and they told me to take Brandon's sled back to the cabin to drink with the ladies haha.
I was kinda nervous cause I had never really driven a sled before, but it was easy I guess haha.
So I made it back to the cabin, and soon after the guys got back as well, truck rescued from the snow.
I feel asleep not two hours later.

The next day started with a really big breakfast haha.
Then we geared up for the day. I was nervous. The thought of riding behind someone and not having the ability to control the machine scares me. So I just had to trust Coco :-p
It was fun though. After a while I got on Danielle's sled so that Cortlin could go and be fast and furious and fancy on the sled haha. A few of us ended up just finding a nice place to stop and bring out the beer and rootbeer schnapps >_<
Danielle got me to drive after that. I loved it. Driving a snowmobile changes the experience completely. I loved loved loved it.
Stopped further up cause Cortlin wanted me back with him. So I drove his. Of course someone decided it would be a grand idea to go through the trees and bushes, so everyone was constantly getting hit with branches and trying to avoid fallen logs haha.
One thing that did scare me was when we had to drive on the river to get back to the cabin. There were cracks everywhere, and water was seeping out. So we went fast to get the hell outta there.
I had almost made it back to the cabin without incident! Just as we were crossing the road, I didn't straighten out the machine in time and got caught on the edge of the ditch, flipping the machine lol. The snow was deep though so all it did was throw me and cortlin off and burying the machine. So we had to dig it out :)

But yeah, it was super fun. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

As soon as we got back Cortlin took a nap and I watched say yes to the dress lol. Everyone else went out for round two, but I was an idiot and only packed one pair of pants and mine were soaking wet, so I was out :(

That night we drank and ate and played catch phrase and ate and drank and ate.
And watched UFC haha
Then i fell asleep as per usual.

And that was it :)
It was most excellent.
