So I finally got my new passport photo done. It's impossible to make those pictures look good, I swear to god. Not impressed. But oh well, its done and apparently my passort didn't expire like I thought it had. So yay.
Brittney!!!Four more months!!!! gah. so pumped.

Last night I went for drinks with Hilah, Michelle, Sarah and Carsie. Man, I had so much fun. I missed those girls like crazy. I don't think I've even seen Carsie since she quit. So it was super nice.
I decided that we need to do it again, but next time with more alcohol haha.

Today so far is a grand day.
Know why?
Because I have a bologna sandwich for lunch.
Hell yes.
So delicious.

This weekend was an ok time.
Friday Amber, Cortlin, Johnny, Matt, Boots, Owen and I all went to Alexanders for supper. The wait was kinda rediculous, something like 40 minutes. Although I guess seven isn't the easiest group to seat. It was super delicious though. I got a burger, and when I asked for peanut butter the server seemed quite baffled haha. I love doing that.
After that Cortlin and I just hung out and watched some movies. Chill night.

Saturday morning I went and helped Cortlin pick out some new glasses. He's impossible to shop with haha, he doesn't have much of an opinion or interest in what he wants, so he ended up getting a pair similar to the ones he had.
Then my mom and I went to HomeSense and a few other places. I got an espresso shelf kinda thing for my room. It's getting super crowded in there. Half the stuff I plan to take with me when I move, and the rest I have to leave behind.
After supper I went to Cortlin's to hang out before we went out to Scratch. Turns out he didn't plan on going, so I was extremely dissapointed/irritated. Oh wells. So I went to James' after I picked up Amber and Hailey. Hung out there for a big, then we went and got Johnny and headed to Scratch. I liked the seating we got haha, It was kind of perfect. I just wasn't in the mood though, which was gay of me. So like a big lame I ended up leaving around 11.
Got a coffee and was just cruising when Amber asked for a ride home. So I went back and got her. Unfortunately she got a little sicky on the way home lol. But oh well, no blood no foul. I adore that girl.

Sunday I woke up, washed my car then went on an epic search for a weird sized battery that I needed in order for my ipod dock remote to work. Downloaded a bunch of new music that I'm super pumped to get into.
Then I went to a big family dinner. Too much good food, way too much food. Went into a food coma on the couch almost immediately after I finished eating. Had some good gossip chats with my aunt to work at innovation place haha, I enjoy hearing how things are doing there. Then my aunt whipped out this huge world travel book so I got really excited haha. Four more months until Europe! Jesus it's coming up fast!

And one more week until me rents leave. Amen to that.

All American Nightmare

I woke up this morning to Rebecca Black's "Friday" song. If you know anything about her meme or this song you know how annoying it is. I wanted to cry, I was instant grump.
So that sucked.
But you know what?
It's Friday. So shit just doesn't matter. I don't even care that it's cold out, because for some reason the amount of light outside makes it feel like a crisp spring morning :-p
I'm content. No negativity today. No work stress.

I had coffee with Liz on Wednesday :) It was awesome. I miss that girl like crazy :(
She's moving to Calgary for the summer, so all the more reason to go down and visit her and Hannah and Josh :)

I'm going to go to Regina in the next few weeks. I want to get another tattoo haha. And Kayla needs to be there, she's my rock. She will pick me up off the ground if I pass out haha.
I have what I want in my mind, so I think I'm good to go.
I'm excited.
Don't let me back out!

Allow me to brag

Last night I got home from work and suddenly found myself in The Zone. The zone is when my brain just starts buzzing and I want to create something magical to eat.
So I saw that we had some boneless individual pork loins, so I started to ponder. I thought of apple sauce, I though of curry, and like always I though of cheese.
I butterfly cut open the pork and then I made a mixture of curry paste, parmesan cheese, oregano, thyme, malajorm and worchestershire. Then I spread it all over the inside of the pork. Then I cut big think slices of apple, stuck them in too, then closed up the pork again. Seasoned the outside lightly with pepper and cumin and VOILA, it's magic baby.
It was super delicious.
I was kinda giving myself a pat on the back for that one. Nommers.

BUT, Bob gets home late and starts to eat the plate I made up for him. What does he do? HE PUTS FUCKING HP SAUCE ON MY CREATION. Argh, that's like putting ketchup on steak. What the hell

Other then that, yesterday was uneventful.
Except I talked to Hannah for a bit :) Made sure everything was good with the apartment. She loved the icecream we stuffed in her freezer haha so that was great.
I'm tired and starting to get sick curtosy of Cortlin :(

So today I'm just brain dead. It hurts to chew anything. Even my PB&J sandwich :(
But I must get better because I am having coffee with Liz aka my long lost love.
Uber pumped.

Bank Statements ruin Life

Man, I went and looked at my Visa statement this morning...scary. Scary as hell. And Calgary charges aren't even on it yet :(
I'm tempted to hide my cards and just hide at home in an effort to not spend money :(

But that is not important.

Calgary is haha.
Man, it was fantastic.
So, let us begin.

Friday:
I was held back at work for about 20 minutes thanks to Gary and his horrible timing. So I rushed home to Cortlin already waiting in my driveway. Then we went and picked up Brittney and Johnny, and we were off.
The roads were good until we crossed the boarder. Then we hit a big length of fog that slowed us down quite a bit, but we got there around 6:30 :)
Went to Hannah's place and I got instantly sad. It's weird being in her place without her there, because she was in Edmonton with her bf for the weekend. She lives in the mosta mazing area though, Kensington. It;s like a nicer version of Broadway in Saskatoon.I fell so in love with the area.
Then we went down to the nearest offsale and got some booze. I made a horrible decision and wanted to try something new, the shittiest bubble gum crap on this planet. Pretty sure I'm going to have to pawn it off to some 15 year old. Yuck.
SO we pre-drank and had a grand old time at Hannahs until about eleven. Then we walked down to the C-train and took it down to the strippers haha. Hannah and James' friend Dani met up with us, she's so cute :)
They had a male stripper that Brittney and I went to watch for a bit. To be honest he was horrible and awkward. Don't wanna see that shit haha. Yuck.
So we joined the guys by the main stage, when the first dancer was just horrible. They got better as the night went on though. James bought me a private dance haha. Some super skinny girl who was such a sweetheart. She kept making small talk though, which is just kind of weird when she's naked. Gah, slay me.
Cortlin was feeling pretty sick though. So I grabbed the apartment keys from Josh and Cortlin and I took a cab back home. I made my baby some tea and got him some medicine. He went right to sleep, so I cleaned up the apartment a bit and set up the sleeping area for the guys. Once they came in I tried to sleep, but Cortlin was crazy feverish. So I didn't sleep much the first night.

Saturday:
Got up, and once we were all ready we all went out for breakfast. Minus Cortlin :( who stayed in bed all day.
We went to this place called Phil's I believe. It was pretty decent. I had this spanish omlette.
Then we took the C-train down to the Chinook Mall. Britt and I went and did our own thing while the guys went and got Dave an icecream cone haha. Happiest guy ever, like a kid at a carnival.
I found myself a black blazer :) FINALLY. And I didn't go crazy with the shopping either, which is good considering im dead in the pocket.
Josh calls me at one point saying him and the guys had bailed and gone home. SO Britt and I had our own little adventure back to Kensington. Doing the day in heels was a horrible idea though :( by the time we made it back I wanted to die.
Then we went to Julios (i think?) for supper and Bulldogs, the drink of the century. It's two shots of tequila in a lime maragrita with a corona upside down in it haha. It was pretty delicious, especially when I mixed mine with redbull to try and stay awake.
Dani and Cole came out again, so after supper we went back to Hannahs to predrink before we went to Rhino. Had some good laughs, oh man. Then we took the train again, walked a bit and it started to snow all shitty like. The line wasn't moving and we were all freezing, so eventually we said screw it and started to make our way back.
Got back to the apartment, and I just went to go and check on Coco, but of course I just fell right asleep.

Sunday:
Home time.
Stopped at Smitty's for breakfast, super delicious. I love cauliflower in my skillets haha, so delicious.
Then we started the long drive home.
As soon as I got home I ate some pasta, watched some tv and went to bed.

Now I'm at work :(
I already want to go back :(

Two more work days til FUN!!

Right after work last night I went and met Chelsea for sushi on 8th street. It was uber delicious :) Although it threatened to put me into a sleep food coma after.

As soon as I walked in the door my rents were like "Do this Do that" so I went out to run some errands. As I was putting air in my tires I impulsively decided I wanted to go and see a movie. So I went and picked up Cortlin and we went for toonie tuesday down at Rainbow. We got tickets for The Fighter, but there wasn't a single open seat. It was gay. So we just walked down and into The Dilemma. It was meh. A few giggles but nothing at all special. I hate Vince Vaune.

Then I went home, talked to Josh about the Calgary trip cause I'm a big loser who enjoys worrying about plans haha. But he put me at ease so I am back to being super super pumped about this trip.

I am going to drink I think. Friday at least.
Gotta get through them strippers somehow!

Radio commercials suck

I woke up this morning with this really weird pukey feeling. Like if you run too hard for too long and when you stop you want to puke. That's how I feel right now. So I hope it passes.

Last night I came home and decided to get creative. So I took out the mini muffin pan and mixed up eggs, salmon, tomatos, chives and mozza and made mini quiches. Man, they turned out super good. I made some cutlets for Bob, because he's odd and doesn't like salmon.

Then I worked out with my mom haha. We just happened to both want to start at the same time, so that sucked. But oh well.

Then I went to bed. Around 11 my mom comes in and is like "Megan, do you want to see Janet's stuff she brought over?"
Janet is our neighbour. She spends all her money on clothes and such, ten times worse then my own mom haha. Every six months or so she will go through her closet and get rid of half of it, giving it all to my mom to take to work and sell to the women she works with.
I said no though. I wanted to sleep.
Five minutes later my mom wakes me up again, saying Hannah was on the phone. So of course I woke up :)
SO we chatted for some time. She's letting us stay in her apartment while we are in Calgary and she's out of town. Which is super nice, like crazy generous. So I had wanted to find out some ground rule, anything she needed to be done.
Talked to her until almost 12. Then I realized I was wide awake, so I went upstairs to see all this stuff Janet brought over. I found a purse that I decided to take haha. It looks like I giant perogie. Love it.

Then I couldn't sleep.
Now I feel le tired.

But I get to have sushi with Chelsea after work :)
This excites me greatly :)

I define lazy

So this weekend actually went by at a fairly decent pace for once. It didn't just fly by.

Friday night I hung out with Cortlin and Matt and Boots. Pretty chill.
Saturday morning Cortlin took me out for icecream because I had been saying how bad I wanted some :) So that was sweet. Then we watched movies until supper time. His mom made this amazing sweet potatoe dish with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and melted marshmallows haha. It tasted like french toast. So delicious. So so so delicious.
Then I went home to freshen up before Amber's party and my rents were like "we are going for supper" >_< so I had more supper. Didn't feel so great after that one.

Then I went to Amber's for Hailey's surprise birthday party :) It was pretty sweet. Amber made a delicious chocolate cake with mini toblerone all around it. Of course it ended up on the floor later on in the night. And all over Johnny :-p

Sunday I went to the spa for my appointment. Took three minutes. Oh, I tried teh lazer hair removal on my under arms haha. Highly reccomend it.
Sorry to anyone who didn't need to know that haha.
Then I rented paranormal activity 2 and You Again. I also bought RED and Let me In, because I enjoyed those movies :)

Paranormal was scary as shit. Holy crap. Holy freaking crap.

Then I did a workout.
Then I went and watched Dorian Grey with Cortlin. It's a pretty excellent movie. And now I'm sick of watching movies.

This week had better go by fast!

Dreaming of Disaster

If you live under a rock, you probably haven't heard about all the horrible things going on in Japan. But for the rest of us, how crazy is this?
That was the first thing I hear when my alarm went off this morning. So I immediately texted Kayla because I knew she would want to get a hold of all her friends there as well as Hiro's family.
I was pretty worried about Shiori :( but I hear she's ok.
My good wishes go out to all those affected by this.
Prayer goes out to Chise who is missing atm.
I'm going to be streaming the news all day at work :(

That's really the only thing that is news worthy right now.
We're pretty lucky guys.

Doesn't Remind me of Anything

Last night was a grand ol time. After work I went to pick up Amber and we went downtown to do some shopping. She needed a dress and I am forever on the hunt for the perfect at work/casual black blazer. So of course neither of us found what we were looking for :(
But the company was awesome and it was good fun, so I won't complain.
I'll find that damn blazer in Calgary. If Calgary doesn't have my perfect blazer, then I'm going to have to accept that it doesn't exist.

After that I went to Cortlin's to watch The Seige. It was meh, even with Denzel and Bruce Willis it was nothing special. Couldn't hold my attention.

Tomorrow is Friday, which is excellent.
I've decided that I really want to see Red Riding Hood.
I don't know if anyone will want to see it with me though :(
Maybe I'll be lame and try the whole see a movie on my own thing.
If Amber's party is on Saturday, then maybe I want a chill night tomorrow...hmm.

I feel Old

Yesterday I got to leave work early to go see the good old doctor because I've been having some back and circulation problems. It took her a whole five minutes to tell me I had to go see a circulatory something or other specialist. I also had to go down to eight street after to go and get some xrays done on my back. Might have to go for physio. Wtf.

So that sucked.

But oh well.

Then I went home.
Worked out.
Watched a shitty episode of Glee. Man, that show has gone downhill so much.
Thats it.

Nothing interesting this week so far.

Oh, but I am going dress shopping with Amber today after work :)
I don't need a dress though haha. But I do need a blazer....

It doesn't feel as cold as I know it is

Today has been insane. I just finally got to take a brake (I spelt break brake, which is a welding term. fml I'm starting to dream about work too) and look at the clock and it's freaking 11:30 already. Excellent.
Plus I get to go to the doctor aka leave half an hour early. Yipee :)
Minus the doctor part.

Yeah, so I walk into work today. Sit down at my desk and check my computer to find a shit ton of emails from Agrium. All quotes. All with at least seven drawings. All needing to be printed out and put in Quote files.
That took me a good hour and a half. Then I had to go through the 2008 files to look for a single drawing :(

Oh, and I caught another scammer today. Stupid bitch trying to sell me toner but she couldn't answer my skill testing question so she got all nasty and hung up on me.

My feet hurt :(
And my back.
What am I? Nine months pregnant?
Good lord, send me back to bed.

Anyway.
Cortlin's hookah came in the mail yesterday.
Cortlin was at school so poor Marge opens the box and thinks that its some big drug smoking contraption. I told him to explain it to them before he got it!
Least to say they are not too impressed. Although they did both try it haha. :)
I went over to give it a try though.
It's a hookah. Meh. I don't hate them but I wouldn't do them everyday, I just don't like the feeling of inhaling smoke.

Hello Monday, my old Enemy.

This weekend was pretty great I must say.

Friday:
Chilled at James' with Cortlin, Dave, Chris, and Josh Nargang.
Just some good ol chat time.
Pretty early night though. Nothing too too special.

Saturday:
I watch Vampire Diaries all day.
Then everybody came over to pre drink before the bar.
Sam was in town :) LOVE love love. So she came over with a bottle of lime tequila that she had brought from Mexico and we passed that baby around until she was gone.
Then we headed out to Outlaws. Had a brief moment where I didn't think the bouncer was going to let us all in. I guess the whole "bar curtosy" thing didn't want to extend to a group of ten haha. But they let us all in anyway which was sweet because the line was stupid long.
Then yeah, we had a great time. Danced and drank and such. BJ and Todd bought me and the ladies shots. Then Sam and I went on an epic mission to grease drinks off random guys. Good times haha. Sam needs to come home more often :) It was a good time.
Then we went and got hot n readys :)
Thanks to Cortlin for being the DD! I know he wasn't having the greatest of times :(

Hump Day

Oh hello there Wednesday. You are not Friday, therefor I do not care for you.

If you don't live in this fine city of Saskatoon, then here is a lovely update. It's fucking cold. The kind of cold that makes you want to pack up and move. I know that because I'm a Saskatchetoonian I should be used to it and not complain...but I want to. It's not fair :(
The only way Mother Nature could make this up to us is if she makes summer rediculously hot. Then I may consider forgiveness.

Otherwise this week has been fairly uneventful.
Work is quite.
I planned The Tournament though.
What is The Tournament you wonder? Well, it's a plan I want to accomplish this summer. It's going to be fun. That is all.

Tonight I am hoping I can grab a coffee with Brittney. I think the last time we did that was when we went with James? That's way too long ago :(
