Yes, it's Friday. Which means I get to hum the friday song. The horrible, horrible Friday song.
I am super stoked for tonight though :) Josh is finally back in S'toon for the summer so I imagine things are going to get silly tonight. I think I'm going to drink gin, so I should find a bearable recipe I can enjoy.

Last night Cortlin and I did what we have done every thursday for the past month or so. We went to Bugsys for cheap wings :) So I'm sitting there, and a young guy goes to sit at the table next to us. For some reason I was like...man, I know this guy. I had a guess who it was, but if it was then it has been almost eight years so I didn't want to assume.
Then out of no where he's like "HEY MEGAN"
Yup, it was Spencer Fetter, a guy I haven't seen since elementary school haha. He grew up quite fine I must add haha. Very cute. I think I was most impressed that he called me Megan and not Kayla, although I imagine it was a good guess.
So that was sweet :)
After that we just went and hung out at Coco's. Watched some freaks and geeks, it was grand.
Got home around midnight, which sucks because I had to get up at six this morning. So I hit the snooze button until 6:30 and dragged myself out of bed and to work. Only to find that Dale isn't going to be in today?
Must have been impulsive, because we be tight, and he didn't say nothin yesterday :( SO it's going to be a very quiet day for me.

These past couple of days have been very busy, but in a good way.
Except work, that would be a bad busy. I just keep coming across mistakes that Lucy made or overlooked. One guy has been with us for over a year and she never put him down for benefits >_< so he is not happy, plus now we owe money...argh. Boss man does not like being told he owes money haha.

After work yesterday I went to Moxies and met up with Courteny for drinks. It was nice, I haven't seen her in a month or so. Plus Moxies has the most delicious sangrias, and we tried these pulled pork slider that were so fantastic.

Yesterday work was no better. I tried fixing that guys benefit thing, but the website locked me out for some reason. When I called they explained that I wasn't allowed to use Lucy's account and I had to make my own. WTF, I'm covering a mat leave, I've been doing it for six months and they only notice now?
Gay, so it's going to take ten days for them to process and get me my own account.

Then I went and got Liz and we went out for sushi for her birthday dinner :)
I miss Liz like crazy. I see her once a month maybe, and it just isn't enough lol. So we had a nice visit :)
Then around seven I got Brittney to go for coffee. James came too :) I love when he comes with us, it's just nice to get to know what he's been up to. I enjoy our group date haha.

Yesterday marked the 80 day countdown to Europe haha.
Know what that means?
I have to go get my passport done.
TODAY.

Easter Long Weekend

This weekend went by too fast :( and I'm jealous of anyone who got this Monday off as well.
Let's see if I can recall all that I did.

Thursday was my one party night, and man it was kick ass. I think that at least 13 of us went to Bugsy's to start out with some 6$ schooners and wings. Kayla and I had gone for sushi right before, so I didn't partake in the wings. But I did have two schooners :) And a burt renolds that I got for Johnny, James and I. As soon as that was done I knew I had pushed myself too far and there was no stopping me now.
Some people wanted to go home, some wanted to go to Belieys. I opted for Belieys :)
So James, Chris, Chris, Johnny, Boots and I went there and got our dance on. Hilah was working which was awesome :) So I had a bit too much to drink. I always get so wasted when she's working :(
It was a fun night though. Only when I got home did the full effects hit me :(

You can imagine how wonderful I felt the next morning, I wanted to die.
I was supposed to have lunch with Kayla and dad, but I had to reschedule for the next morning.
So I slept.
and whined
and felt ill
Until Cortlin texted me at three and said he was coming to get me. So we hung out at his place for a while, until dinner time. His mom and dad had made a huge spread for Easter. The Germans came over as well and brought their relatives from Germany which was awesome. They didn't speak much english though, which made things difficult.
After dinner we went over to James' to hang out. By hang out I mean I quickly fell asleep until around 1:30 when Cortlin woke me up to take me home.

Saturday morning Kayla and I had dim sum with dad. That was nice, I was craving dim sum like crazy.
Then we went downtown and wandered around for a bit. I bought a dress that I didnt bother to try on so when I got home I tried it. To my dismay it was a tad too snug up top :( But Kayla was more then happy too buy it off me, and it looks way better on her anyway :)
I did my own thing for a bit, took Cortlin for his first Bulk Cheese Warehouse experience. I love that place. And they have a Christies on Broadway now too, bonus.
Oh, and we ran into Raffie and the lovely John Deboice haha. So that was sweet.
Then I chilled that night basically. Nothing much to report.

Sunday morning was Easter with my family out in Vonda. So I grabbed Coco and we all went out there and ate way too much food.
Jon challenged me to a deviled egg eating contest. He won with seven while I had six. Only reason we quit is that we ran out of eggs. I felt so sick though. Horrible decision :(
Got home, went to Cortlin's for the rest of the day.

And that was my weekend.

Now I'm work, and I have way too much to accomplish this week :(

Give me some rope

Man, I was so pumped about a new tattoo like a month ago. Now, I still want it, but staring at my bank account I just can't go through with it just yet.
I still like the arm idea, but thats the one place my mom is begging me not to get it.
So I don't know. Rib maybe? Although the pain isn't appealing.

Anyhoo.
Today is "Friday", and tonight we are all going out to eat wings and get drunk.
I am over pumped, which is bad as it is making this day drag on and on.
It's only first break :(

But I do have to figure out what the hell happened to the bank rec. It is just not making any sense this month. None.

Oh, and I crave Denny's.

So I changed the layout of my blog again. Durr. Not sure if I like it yet....

It's already Wednesday, which is technically Thursday on account of no one works on Friday. Except for Dave haha.

I have been non productive so far this week. All I've done is gone to work, come home, gone for a run, then watch tv. Lame.

I'm pumped for Thursday though. Drinks and wings. I want to get silly aka drunk. I don't know why, I'm just suddenly in the mood.

Just Dance

This weekend was a blur.

Friday was the Tiesto concert. It was epic, probably the best time I've had at a concert ever. Too much dancing, too much people, too much sweat and beer. It was perfect :)
By the end of it my knees wanted to give out haha.
Ran into Dylan from work. I didn't recognise him at first, so I felt like a big jerk. I'll have to appologise today >_<

Saturday I spent the day doing errands and poo. Got to spend most of it with my mom though, which was pretty nice.
Then about ten of us went to Boston Pizza for supper. It was meh, the company was better then the food by far. Then we all went to James' house with the intention of going out, but we ended up just casually drinking in his basement all night. I was sleepy :(

Sunday I helped my mom with her fashion show downtown. Spent the majority of the afternoon there.
Got home
washed my car
then I went for sushi with Chelsea :)
then I went to Cortlin's to chill.

It was a busy weekend.

That's pretty much what one of the girls at the fashion show was thinking last night. She was very bold in just taking it all off. Maybe I'm just too conservative lol.

Last night was so much fun :)
Big crowd, and it just went along really smooth which was nice. I'm tempted to get the dress i wore, but even with a 40% coupon, I don't know if I can justify how much it costs...We shall see.

And after the show I went for wings with Cortlin haha. I was so hungry, I devoured them.

This week has been busy as hell and yet it feels like it is going by super slow. Not fair :(

Yesterday Pam called me at work asking if I was doing the Choc'la Cure Fashion Show at Dutch Growers. I was planning on just fading into the background until she assumed I wasn't going to do it.
No dice.
She said please. So I said yes.

So right after work I went down to DG to get fitted. I loved how when I walked in they said "Pick whatever you want to wear". So I picked out some stuff to try, then they brought my a bunch of other stuff and said No, you are wearing this. Haha, I guess it's ok though, they are the professionals.
They have me in skinny jeans and a lady gaga tank for my first outfit.
Then a lilac leather ish sundress for the second.
Could be fun

Then I had to rush home, devour a mango, then rush back for dress rehersal.
The stage looks amazing, much better then last time. It's a legit raised runway this time :)

Oh, and they hired Pilot Productions to shoot the show :-p
So that will be sweet.

So I did that for a couple of hours, then went to Cortlin to watch Drinking Made Easy and Criminal Minds. So good :)

Today I am just tired.
And hungry
I want more mangos :)

The show is tonight, so I encourage everyone to try and come! It's for an amazing cause!
Plus you can see me fall on my ass.

Oh man, so the weekend.

Friday I had the shooter party. It turned out pretty good, and I have a ton of stuff over which is nice. I actually made a profit off this one :)

Saturday started with brunch with Cole and Boots and Cortlin at Foxy's. I had a burger, which was almost amazing but not quite because it was missing peanut butter :(. But it was satisfying all the same.
Then Cortlin and I attempted to go shopping for him on account of he needs new pants. But he hates shopping=instant sour mood lol. So it was a short experience.
Went to the grocery store, got some stir fry stuff and I made a beef stir fry for us for supper. Then we went and met Johnny downtown to go and watch Hanna. It was awesome. I agree with Johnny about it having a pretty excellent soundtrack. It was amazing.
They could almost make a sequel I think.
Then Cortlin and I got icecream, went back home and smoked some hookah.

Sunday morning I had to kick Cortlin out so that I could head off to Regina for the day to go and see KK. That drive blows, but I found a car doing 160 so I just leeched behind him and made it there in about two hours.
I went and got Kayla, who is getting smaller everytime I see her haha. I can't wait to live there. I'm going to force lard on her. Hiro too, too tiny man.
We wandered around the mall for a bit. Kayla got some cute stuff. :)
Then we went down to the Freehouse for the Japan Relief fundraiser where I got to meet a bunch of her friends. I wish I was better with names haha, I can't remember much :(

Then a few of us went out for supper to LaBodega. I think this place is going to be a frequent visit for me when I live there. Their food is awesome, although you kinda have to have an open mind for it.
I was feeling ill, so I stuck with a bread platter with hummus and a few other dips.

After that I started the trek home.
Made it about ten minutes out of the city and I had to pull over to yack. What the hell. SO sick.
SO that was my whole trip home, pulling over every hour or so to get sick. Didn't get in until 10:30 11, Rocky was so sad at me haha.

So Monday I stayed home from work. Slept, got better.
I blame the sushi Kayla and I had for a snack.

This is why I don't like stripes. I decided to wear stripes today, then my hair was being gay so I put on a hat. As I'm walking out the door I catch myself in the mirror and am like....great...I look like a freaking mime.
Sigh.

This week went by pretty fast actually.
Wednesday Cortlin and I went around and gather money for the shooter party tonight. Last night we went and got the booze. Made some jello shots. So I'm getting pretty pumped, now that everything is all set up and ready for buisness.

Then we went to Bugsy's with Matt, Johnny and eventually Cole joined us, him having just flown in from Calgary. I stayed for probably half an hour, then had to go home to get to bed. Stupid work.

So yeah, other then that...that's it for this week.
None too exciting.

It's probably not a good thing that this is how I feel when my parents leave me alone for two weeks, but I really just needed some independent time.
I take care of things more when I know that no one else will do it if I don't.
Plus I get to eat whatever I want. Last night's supper was a fresh mango and some peanut butter. Freaking yum.

Prep has begun for the weekend as well.
Starting to get kind of pumped lol.
I just have too much yet to accomplish this week.
Like I have to go down to the passport office. I have my pictures finally, but I still have to suck it up and go down there. Sigh, I just never feel like doing anything after work.

Oh, and I still have to go down to the Bulk Cheese Warehouse. I am craving some hummus man. And some fancy ass cheese. I was going to do that yesterday, but I spent a good hour in the grocery store. I grabbed what I thought was my grocery list from my car, but turns out it was just the booze list for the weekend -_- So I had to try and remember everything I needed.

This morning I put some salmon in a marinade to sit and get magical while I'm at work :)
So least to say this eve's dinner is going to be fantastic.

I couldn't sleep last night, for a couple of reasons.
1. I'm not used to having to sleep with my door open so I can hear when Rocky needs to go pee. So everytime he moved or breathed too hard I woke up
2. Whenever that woke me up I started thinking about Insidious :(
So not fun.

I am le tired.
But I have coffee
So I shall press on.

This weekend was a good one :)
Friday night Cortlin and I went to go see Insidious. It was so fantastic. Super scary though. I had my ears plugged and one eye close pretty much the whole time. There were alot of 80s horror aspects to it that made it pretty unique from any other horror that has come out lately. I reccomend seeing it :)
After that we went to James' and gathered the troops before we went off to Teqila to see DJs Dada. We were waiting in line when this one guy starts to yell about the plane that went down on 51st. Said he pulled two people out, he was so drunk. Chris went and yelled that he pulled three people out haha. It was funny until the guy wanted to fight Chris :(
I ofund out later that the kid wasn't even lying haha, he was on the news and everything. guess he was an EMT that just happened to be there, and he pulled two people out.
Ricky Rock was the opener, which is always good. He seemed to remember our group of friends as soon as they stared to chant WuTang haha.
Dada was super good actually. I was impressed. But not when they threw dozens of bananas into the crowd. Just made everything a slippery mess.
I was so proud of Cortlin haha he came out, and actually danced and seemed to enjoy himself. So that was good.

Saturday started with dim sum, as any good day starts. Then I went home and napped.
Rolled out of bed and then went to Cortlin's and Matt came over. Then we just watched Freaks and Geeks and brought out the hookah.
Oh, and if you haven't watched or heard of Freaks and Geeks, get on it. It is so good.

Sunday I went to Park Cafe with my dad for brunch. It was pretty good.
Minus the screaming baby beside us. It was able to hit an octive that was physically painful. I don't understand why parents bring their screaming children out. It's rude. Mussel it.

Then I hung out with my mom. We bought a mango, which was delicious. So I decided that as soon as my rents leave I'm stocking up on mangos.
