Ugh I kinda forget what I did this week...

Tuesday night Sam, Johnny, Matt, Cortlin and I went to Amigos because Sam was cravin it like a champion. I tried the torilla pizza with pesto and JESUS CHRIST it was amazing. I think I'd do the vegetarian next time though, with half cheese. It was just too much haha.
Then we went to Rainbow for toonie tuesday and saw Hanna. I've already seen it but it was equally great the second time around. Although I didn't get home until midnight which made me uber sad face :(

So I was tres tired Wednesday. Worked. Left early to go to the doctor to make sure I'm good to go for the trip. He gave me the green flag so off we go!!!
Then I went home to create a fantastic chicken dinner for the family. I had it in the oven for maybe twenty minutes when the god damn power went out and didn't come back on for over an hour.
SO that ruined that.

Sammy Sam Sam stopped by to say a quick goodbye as she left at like 5 am this morning :( I miss her already. Why must she live so damn far away...

Tonight I plan to tear up the town.
It's nice
and it's a long weekend.

Only Love, Lovin you

This weekend was pretty awesome. Friday started out shitty because my body decided to attempt to kill me through a pinched nerve that shut down the left side of my chest, turning my arm completely numb, and bringing tears to my eyes everytime I tried to take a breath. Thank god our neighbour is a doctor. So he came over and checked me out quick, made sure it wasn't anything more then a pinched nerve, then reccomended lots of aleve. So I downed half the bottle, lay down for a bit then around eleven when the pain numbed all of us ladies (Brittney, Kat, Amber, Kimmi, Sam and I ) went to Tequila to go show the dancefloor who was boss.
The dj was kinda not great, but he got the job done. And by job I mean packing the floor with enough people that you actually felt yourself walk through a wall of heat as you got closer to the floor. It was human soup sweat central.
I had alot of fun though. Ran into a guy I grew up with and had the most awkward conversation of my life with just ended in exchanging numbers so we could perhaps attempt a real conversation another day.
Oh, and this guy who spoke french was asking us if we spoke french. Sam decided to tell him I did haha and I made the mistake of telling him "Je ne parle pas français" (I don't speak french) and he immediately got excited and thought I did speak french. God damn.

Saturday morning I had dim sum with Cortlin. He's working overnights for the next ever so I won't get to see much of him on the weekends :( so that was delicious. Then I went home and took a nap, woke up and watched movies until I went to Sam's for a ppool party/bbq
Man, more people need pools. They are just fun. I love them. Even though it rained most the night, then my stupid chest pain kicked in again like a lovely, so it was more pills and out of the pool for me.
It was a good night though, very chill. Oh, and Sam makes THE BEST mojitos. Ever.

Sunday I was a piece of shit.
Went to shoppers and bought travel sized everything to get ready for the trip. Then I went and rented Tron because I had yet to watch it, and bought Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt.1.
Then I just watched movies until supper time. There was a brief attempy to go to Schryers with Johnny but the bastards are closed on SUndays, so that was a bust.
The best part about last night was that the new season of True Blood started. And there are a few things I liked, and a few things I hated:
1. I hate the whole Lafeyette being a witch bullshit. It's a show about vampires, ugh I don't care. Go back to being sassy and gay.
2. Not sure how I feel about the new Fey angle...I'll keep you updated.
3. What's her face is a lesbian now, and I kinda like that idea better then her sour attitude. Plus shes a cage fighter now? bad ass.
4. Eric is still hotter then any man should be. It ended with him surprising Sookie when she's all naked and basically saying he had bought her house now she belongs to him. Then it ended with his lustful approach. Which makes you think...finally, after three seasons they are gonna bang. But I predict that it's not gonna happen. She's gonna talk her way out of it. sigh

This morning I went and dropped of my car at Novakoski to get the ding in the back fixed. Finally. It's only been sitting there since January.
And I love my rental car more then my own. As the lady pointed it out my face lit up. Its blue, which sucks, but its a two door ford focus, and I love it.

Then there was no Hate

This week has flown by, like every weeks seems to be doing lately. 21 days until the trip!!! BAM. So freaking pumped. I've started my training notes for Amber, and I must say I love the idea of training. I think it will be lots of fun. Found out my mom is a typical mom this morning. She has to be in Regina on the 14th to be with Kayla. But she's planning on packing the poor girl in the car first thing the next morning and dragging her home to see me and Brittney off to the airport haha. Kayla is gonna be sooooo not impressed. AT least I wouldn't be.

98% percent of the guys went fishing this weekend, so there are very few people in the office right now. SO I think it is going to be a very quiet day. *fingers crossed*

Wednesday night Brittney and I went for a walk of epic proportions. From my house, to the zoo and back. It was super fun :)I love walks, although according to Cortlin it's a sure sign that I'm old -_-

Last night Marge made a big nom nom salmon dinner for a belated Cortlin's birthday. So all the neighbours stopped by and we pigged out. Great times were had by all. Then we went to Bugsy's to meet up with Sam and Cortlin's friend Jordon for some chill time and a quick visit.

Now it's friday, and today I went driving around dropping off and picking up cheques thanks to the lovely mail bitches who want to complain and such. Get back to the office with this bad feeling, like I've messed up somehow. Sure enough, get a call from a couple people saying I've mixed up their cheques. Ugh.

Tonight is going to be awesome though! Cheesecake dinner with Sam, then get ready for a girls night at Tequila!
Pretty pumped.

If Only you Knew the Truth

Workdays have been boring and uneventful as hell.
But the evenings have been quite excellent :)

Monday night was Katherine's birthday so we met for coffee and a good catch up. Haven't seen Kat since.....New Years? That's probably not right, but it feels like its been that long anyway.
So we went for coffee for a couple hours and she told me all about ROME!!!! Gah, it just made me more excited. When I asked her what her fav part of Rome was, area wise, she said Trastervere!!!! Which thrilled me because I did some research on it a while ago and was hoping it was as good as it sounds.
So she gave me a bunch of helpful tips and mentioned alot of things that I didn't even think about, like making copies of passports and taking credit cards etc etc.
It was grand :)

Last night I just hung out with Cortlin. He starts his overnight shifts this weekend so I won't see him.
But that's kinda good timing because Sam is in town and I wanna spend a bunch of time with her haha :)

25 Days

This weekend was a busy one. But in a very good way.

Friday at work was ok until Dale informed me that he was going to be gone for the next three weeks :( Which make me sad because not only do I adore this man and his company, but now there's a chance that I may not see him until after Europe. Sad panda.

(Current note: This guy at work looks and talks like peewee herman and its creeping me the fuck out)

Anywho, after work I dropped Kayla off with a friend and tried not to drown in the process on account of all the god damn rain we have been getting. Saw a couple of cars that had flooded and stalled in the mini lakes that were all over the place.
Got to Cortlin's for his happy birthday Kegger. Once it picked up it was a pretty damn good time. Although there is something about beer that just doesn't get me drunk. It just makes me feel all full and shitty.
Thomas got Kayla to do a mini keg stand though, so I promised to loev him forever for that haha. It was pretty funny.
I pretty much just tried to take as many pictures as I could, and I think I have to get a new memory card now :(

Got home crazy early in the morning on Sat, slept for a couple more hours then Kayla and I got to work on our father's day gifts which were home made cinnamon buns :) nom nom.
It was a long, three ish hour process but oh so worth it.
So I took some to Curtis because I'm a huge kiss ass like that. Then my mom, my sister and I went and hung out for a bit at the mall. My mom just had a scope done on her knee so she was all limpy and funny :-p
After that I picked up Cortlin and we went to go and see Super 8. I really liked it. The end was kind of dissapointing only because you spend the whole movie in suspense over this creature, and once you see it your interest kind of peaks. But the characters were super well done, so I reccomend seeing it.
Went to Ninos for a late supper aka nom calamari. Said a quick hey to the guys at James' and watched Austin Powers haha. Then I was home and asleep by midnight. I was pooped.

Woke up Sunday feeling like my head was full of fuck. I think all this rain chilled me or something cause I just felt crappy. But Sunday was the busiest day of all so I had to hop to it.
It was fathers day as well as mom and Cortlin's birthday, so I started by making breakfast for Bob and mom.
Then Kayla and I went to the airport to go and pick up Sam who is going t be in town for the next while. I have missed her dearly :)
Met Hiro at the house and then met our dad downtown for shitty saskatoon garden dim sum. I disliked it strongly. After that we went to Midtown so that they could wander around and I could suprise Cortlin with a bday blizzard because he had to work 8-8. Hung around there for a bit then went home to take the shortest nap of my life.
Woke up and went to my aunts where we ate too much food lol but it was fantastic.
THEN i went and picked up Sam and we met dear dear Liz at Mckensie Cole as she was in town from Calgary for only a few days.
It was a nice catch up, and reminded me of the times we used to go there in highschool together. :) awe. I miss all the gals together.

that was my weekend.

Dropping bombs

So here's a little development in life as I know it.
I emailed Lucy on Monday to ask her abou tcoming in for a bit in July while I'm in Europe. Also I reminded her that I was going back to school late august and wanted to know what would be a good restart day for her.

She emails me back today saying that she can't cover for me in July, which is fine. Amber will help me out there.
BUT then she says that she's decided she's not coming back until Oct31st....leaving the office without an admin for two months?
THIS WAS NOT THE GOD DAMN PLAN!!!!!
Gah, I'm freaking out because now I'm expected to find and train someone for two useless months where by the time they get the hang of everything the two months will be up.
Is Lucy pissed or something? She agreed to come back when I went to school...
UGH.
So that sucks.

Don't like what I see in the Mirror

This weekend was a blur.
Friday night a bunch of us went to Eastview bowl to do some drunk bowling. I participated in the bowling, not the drunk haha.
But it was the walk home that was the truly good time. I love walking around. Boots ran through bushes and climbed schools and Golf's Car Wash haha. Stopped at pizzahut where we realized his arms were bleeding/?!?!
Almost made it all the way home, but as soon as Josh left us and we realized we still had another hour to walk, we said fuck it and called a cab.

Saturday morning I went out in an effort to find something for Cortlin for his birthday. But no dice :( I know he'd be happy with a new game, but I don't wanna settle for that. I want something special.
But after a while I gave up, so I'll have to try again another time this week.
Went and bought the keg for his birthday. Which I realized was a horrible idea because I hadn't asked Bob yet :( and of course he said no. But no worries, I will find an alternative.
Sat night I went to Kimmis for a nom nom BBQ, then to Seans to say a quick hello as it was his birthday.

Sunday morning Cortlin and I drove out to Regina to get the keys to the place I'll be staying this fall.
It's a big old character house in Cathedral, and I'll be living with four other people. The owner and his fiance are amazing, so nice. The room is small but I'll make it work :)

Man, I don't feel like blogging anymore atm haha. I've been up since one on account of me being shitty. So I r tired.

More another day

This is why I shouldn't get paid this much

Because I don't work. I'm bored as hell and thus I am going to write this blog.
It's a crime how I live my life.

Last night was super laid back in subtle ways. When I got home I made a big bowl of noodles for my mom and I. I put this garlic spice mix into the ground beef as I made a sauce and it just turned it into instant magic. After dinner we made cookies and pretty much just sat there and ate cookie dough. The whole time we took turns saying "Last bite, this is going to make me sick" but of course that didn't happen.
Then I did a half ass work out in an effort to make myself feel like less of a piece of shit. See, the plan is to loose weight before Europe so that I can induge and not return to Canada looking like a balloon. So far it has all been in vain. I was going to write vein...

Then Cortlin calls me from work. He was working an overnight thus brought his xbox to play. But he forgot a controller :-p
So, being the most wonderful girlfriend/push over, I went to his house to get him one haha. Curtis was very dissapointed in me, but lukily he was standing far enough away and without my glasses I couldn't actaully make out his dissapointed expression.
Then I made my way downtown to Cortlin, hung around the empty mall parkade with him for a bit, begging him to steal me one of the confiscated bikes the security guards kept locked up in cages. No dice.

Went home and listened to Young the Giants for a good hour. Listen to them. You may have heard their song My Body on rock102, but man, I love them. They are my lyrical crush of the moment.

Attempted to sleep but kept having the strange feeling that something was in my room so I kept turning my bedside lamp on and off. Lame.
Oh, and KK decided to drunk txt me at all hours of the night -_- remind me to return the favour haha.

46 days until Europe.
I can hardly wait.
I need someone to erase my daydreams from my mind about this trip, because I honestly cannot focus on anything.
It is not good.

Good news, I found a place in Regina to live :)
This is kinda bittersweet for me. It's good because now I have a place to go and Bob can get off my back. But it's bad because now I have to move to Regina :( Ugh.

Its a big character house in Cathedral which is apparently the "trendy" part of Regina. Grain of salt lol.
The owner is 30 and lives there with his 22 year old fiance. They have one other tennant already who is apparently pretty quite and games all the time. So it'll kinda be like home? haha.
There is one more room that they need to fill which will apparently be some guy from Manitoba.
The kitchen is gorgeous, there;s a deck on two of the floors and two bathrooms.
Oh and they have three adorable little dogs according to Kayla.
So I'm super pumped.
I can start moving in in July as thats when I get possesion.

John Perry

Yesterday as I was driving home from work, my car suddenly made this horrible noise, and then the air conditioning cut out. Ode to Joy. The noise won't stop, it feels like my car is falling apart. Bob says I need a new compressor. So that will be at least 500 bucks. Then he started listing off other things, and it could be closer to 1600.
I swear that the whole world wants me to just be broke and not succeed in life. I'm heart broken :( this really sucks.

A positive: went to Joe Dogs last night to watch the game with Amber, Kimmi, James, Josh, Matt, Cortlin and a couple of the dads haha. It was fun. The food was meh and the beer was cheap, but the company was good.
On the way to Joes Cortlin couldn't figure out which bar he thought we were going to, and he thought it was the Don Cherry bar. But me being a total idiot say "Are you thinking of the John Perry bar?"
Never gonna let me live that one down.

Two more days until the weekend.
I think that I can make it.

Oh, Kevin shaved his mustache off today haha. I didn't even recognise him when I came into work haha. Super looks good though.
