These are the Moments I Hold on to

Ugh this week went by too slow. I discovered that due to privacy issues I'm going to have to censor my blog when it comes to clients. Which is fine, I understand that. But I guess one guy in my class didn't take the censorship too seriously cause now he's in shit with everyone.

The week was ok though. I wish I had accomplished alot more, like my essay :(

I have an anatomy exam on Tuesday that I've barely studied for yet on the bone and muscle systems. And then an essay due on the 7th that I haven't even started. That for sure I need to get done this week. Because I know that when I go home to Stoon this weekend I won't do shit.

Cortlin came down to visit me this weekend :) Sometimes I get so wrapped up in school and stuff that I forget how much I miss him. This long distance isn't fun.
He went and bought me a 32 inch tv for my birthday, that bum haha. Def not the cheap and simple hug and a kiss I had asked for haha. But its sweet, I needed one desperately. Now I don't have to go downstairs at all unless I need to eat.

Friday night we went to go and see In Time, that new Justin Timberlake movie where everyone lives by a clock on their arm. I really liked it actually. It wasn't amazing or anything, but the concept was different.

Saturday morning I made breakfast and then went to the store and bought some Halloween candy. Then we sat on the couch and played Little Big Planet while eating candy. So by one I felt like shit and figured we should accomplish something, so we went to the mall and looked for birthday gifts for Kayla and Curtis. Found a book for Curtis on some hockey guy that Cortlin thought he would like.

Oh and I got this book called "Go the Fuck to Sleep" It's a 'childrens' bedtime story that has cute pictures and rhymes, but the last verse on every page is "go the fuck to sleep". Died laughing.

Then we just watched movies and played more little big planet and drank wine. It was a good time haha.

Now its Sunday and the panic is starting to set in, at the lack of studying I got done this weekend.

Can't wait for Friday! So I can come home!!!!!

I feel like I'm playing Dress-up

This morning was my first day at clinical at Wascana Rehab, its a long term care facility for veterans and physical rehab patients.
So I get up this morning, sure anxious and pumped to go. Have my coffee, get on my scrubs and head out the door....
...only to see that there are no cars parked on the street...
Including my car.

This actually came out of my mouth and would have been humorous had it not been for the familiar fuzzy feeling of threatening tears. This couldn't be happening...I just can't be late for my first day.

SO I called a taxi and told them to step on it. Then I called my mommy cause I'm a big baby. So the cab got me there on time thank God.
We did a tour of the building and were all shown our group areas. I'm on 3-3 which is nothing fancy or specific, just old people lol.
Then we got to meet our individual clients.

Rest of the day was all paperwork and more charts. Have to do an research assignment on her illnesses which should be interesting. And I need to google all her meds cause I have no idea what they are.

After that I went on an epic search for my car because apparently the reason my car got towed was because they were cleaning the streets and they just moved it somewhere in the neighborhood.
Eventually found it, with a 65 dollar ticket on the window. That's my second one in the part ten days. yyyaaaa.

Then I had Kayla and Hiro over for supper and Rob joined us as well. I like having everyone sit down at the table and eat. Its just great :)

And I got to watch Vampire Diaries.

Dirty SLuts and Midterms

I originally wrote this long, brutally honest, no feelings spared blog about whats been going on in my house these past few nights. Alas I just can't bring myself to post it for the cyberworld. So I'll make it short.
Kylee is a cheating whore who parades her man slut around the house like she expects me to be cool with it when Rob gets back.

Let's just say I'm not touching this situation with a ten foot pole.
But If Rob asks, I aint lyin either.

God fucking damnit.
Who wants to help me find a new place over Christmas? Cause thats whats happening.

In other news, my life has momentarily gotten less stressful in school as I finished midterms on Tuesday. Anatomy I did awesome, NRSG 102 I did ok, NRSG 101 I did ok, and I'm waiting on Microbiology.
But its weird to me, because in high school all the theory and hands on stuff I did super well at and I struggled in sciences. But now its the other way around? Like wtf is this.

Clinical starts tomorrow and I am nervous as hell. Iget to meet my old guy or girl! Gah, so so so nervous. Kinda excited though. My hands are gonna shake like crazy I know it haha.

Otherwise it's been pretty quiet here.

One of those Days

Ugh this week just needs to end already.

Talked about death in class all morning, which is always a mood raiser >_< not a dry eye in the room by the end of it all.

Starting to feel pretty insecure about some things too.
Just, ugh. I wanna sleep it all off and have someone else figure shit out for me.

I always say I need to Blog more

Last week was a blur of happiness. Anatomy was pie. Presentation was postponed to November due to a power outage. And I got to skip friday to go home early.

The weekend was excellent. Thursday I got to see Marge and Curtis and the Germans :) Baby Konrad is ssssoooo cute. I want a baby. But just a loaner, for just a day haha.
Boots, Cortlin, Josh Nargang and I went bowling haha. Cause I guess thats fun. It was decent though. Everyone had to buy a bucket of beer, so by eleven I was pretty done.

Friday I spent with Kayla and mom. Went and checked out the new Sephora in the mall. Stood in line for 40 minutes just to get into the god damn place. Then I proved why women are dumb by spending more then 100 bucks on freaking makeup >_< good god WHY. I wish credit cards would look at what your buying and demand you think about it for three minutes.
My next purchase there is going to be Body by Burberry though. I love that perfume more then anything.

Friday night was Matts big day so we all went to Winstons to celebrate. I was a big gay and got all tired and scared of drinking/spending so Cortlin and I left early. Got Wingnuts. Don't you dare judge me, my gut judged me enough haha. It was pleasantly terrible.
Cortlin made me an omlette in the morning cause hes pretty sweet like that. I wish I could make omlettes as well as him. Mine always turn into scrambled eggs.

Oh God what else did I do Saturday.....

That night I did nothing lol. Hung out at Cortlins, watched shitty movies and went to sleep.

Sunday Kayla and I went out to my dad;s and brought him fancy Subway Thanksgiving dinner haha. Then that night was traditional dinner in Vonda with moms family.
Too much food was consumed this weekend.
Way too much.
And I'm ok with that.

Today I just went for lunch with Cortlin to Rocky Creek then had a chat with Bob about my student loans. Which he approved of. I don't know why this surprised me so much haha. So I'll get that sent in this week.

Kayla and I got back to Regina around seven and now I'm starting to realize what little I accomplished homework wise this weekend.
God damnit.

Don't Follow me Home

I accomplished pretty much nothing this weekend
Friday my car starter exploded so I had no car until Monday which cost me about $500 bucks to fix. YAY :( So in light of this I have decided that it would be in my best interest to accept the student loans that the gov't has offered me. I just can't afford to live right now to be honest haha.
I'm in trouble.

I found out that I can access all of Rob's media files on my computer so I've been watching Sons of Anarchy like no ones business. Honestly, that show is so amazing it hurts. Watch it.

Oh and Bob has been hunting all weekend and taking Rocky with him. Sunday Rocky went to go and get a duck and never came back. Bob looked for six hours and never found him :( and with Rocky being almost 12, deaf and half blind, it was bad. Mom was in tears because Rocky has been her house buddy when Bob is away for years. It sucked.
Monday Bob was out from 530 am to 530 pm loooking for him again. My mom and aunt decided to join the hunt and Jesus Christ they found him. He just came sauntering up to my mom like it was no big thing. Bugger probably had the greatest adventure.

Today is gonna be a hell of a day. First thing is my first Anatomy exam which Im sure will result in them kicking me out of the program haha.
Then at lunch we have to get into our small groups and present our Mental Health Wellness Day presentations to the entire student body. Whee

Ugh

But then its almost Thursday!
