Day 3 & 4: messy stressy

Wednesday was so crazy i didnt even blog about it gasp
They put me back on labour & delivery. Initially i thought it was gonna be all chill like last time, NO.
They were scheduled for 0 ORs, but we ended up getting nine. At one point all seven birthing rooms were full and fuck some were screamers haha. The cleaning of the ORs was possibly the most disgusting experience to date. One of them i walk in after they cart the new mom out and there is green slime all over the floor.....so i am assuming she spawned an alien of some kind...
And in about five or six of the OR clean ups, the aids hadn't taken out the equipment yet so i had to go around the stupid amniotic sac that would be staring at me from a pan.....fuck it made me want to never ever ever have kids haha
But then it all changed when i met Dan. He was waiting outside the OR for his wife to have her sesection, and he was all like "im so nervous, theres no way im gonna make a good dad. what if i cant do this?"
I had trouble findin the words to comfort, i mean, he was around my age, tattooed and peiced, and looked so scared.
Then the nurse came out carryin his baby and he started bawling. As soon as he got to hold his baby girl he started to kiss her, sayin her name, Gracie
Then he kinda looked at me smiling and crying and was like "Don;t tell my wife, but I've never fallen so instantly in love"
I almost started crying myself

That night Hannah and i went to Athenas to have a few drinks and appetizers, it was a good time. Athenas beats out Boston Pizza in my mind, its got the best spinach dip.
