The phone keeps on ringing, and everytime I pick it up it's just dial tone. Keeps on happening...freaking me out a bit!
So this weekend was pretty excellent I must say.
Friday at work was great, because I did the April bank rec and it only took me 20 minutes, as apposed to the three weeks it took me to do the March one? So gay, but I am happy to be done.
After work Cortlin and I went to Athenas for supper. It was pretty meh if I do say so myself. Then we picked up the lovely Brittney and went over to Johnny's to pre-drink before Daft Punk at Scratch.
Overall it was a pretty good show. The music was awesome, but WAY TOO LOUD. I like loud music as much as the next young thang, but Friday night was just crazy. One guy was tripping out on either E or good times, but either way he didn't stop his violent dancing all night haha. I enjoyed him, Cortlin just wished he would get punched in the face.
The only bad thing about the show was the "DJs" themselves. It was a Daft Punk tribute band, but they didn't even try. They came out in snowmobile helmets and played off an ipod all night. So they suck as human beings, but the music made up for it.
Saturday morning my mom wanted me to go garage sale sailing with her :) I had more success then she did. Managed to find to men's sweaters that will be comfy as hell, and two vintage waist belts from some old lady near Broadway. All costing 2.50 haha.
Then I made the mistake of going to Tonic, where I got a couple cool pairs of pants for more then I wanted to spend :(
Went to the new Christies bakery on Broadway too. OMG. My mom and I sat in the car eating this fresh croissant and basically died it was so delicious.
Then I went to the Hendrik's with Cortlin's family for an amazing fish fry. Three kinds of fish, all so delicious. Marge made alcoholic smoothies as well, so so good.
After that everyone gathered at James' for the first firepit of the year :) Yay summer! I enjoyed it, it was a good time. But the best time had to be when I took Dave, Doug and Cortlin for Hot-N-Readys. Haven't laughed that hard in my life. The sass, the hate. Oh Doug :)
Sunday morning I had brunch with my dad at Kelly's. It was delicious but it took way too long to cook up just eggs and toast.
Then he took me outta town and showed me this cute little lake house he's thinking of buying. I was surprised that he wanted to move out of the city, but it;s gorgeous and I know he'll love it :)
Plus he said if his offer goes through, that I can bring all my friends up for a weekend and he'll gimme the keys. Bam.
Sunday night I had the intention of taking Cortlin to some secret spot for supper. But he decided to make me supper instead :) It was super delicious, BBQ steak :)
Nom Nom
Then we just watched Heroes. Haha, I've never seen it, but it's pretty damn good.
I looked at my calendar this morning when I got into work, and I can't believe it's already May 16th!
60 days until Europe.
3 months until I'm done working at Shear Fab.
and then school?
Good Lord.
