Tuesday in anatomy I got to dissect a pig heart, it was so dope. The heart is super sweet I promise. So much detail, and the muscles are hella strong, like I tried to rip it apart cause I'm weird and I couldn't.
I skipped the afternoon like a total champion, got some homework done. But mostly I did nothing, as per usual.
Yesterday was the longest day ever. We had our essay presentations. I wanted so badly to just do mine and get it over with, but we only do four a week so I didn't get to go :( tres sad.
The afternoon was stressful as hell. We had Micro testing, where we had two time slots where we had to go in and show the teachers our catheter and simple dressing skills. It was pass or fail. Here I thought catheters would be crazy hard, but I passed that easy. But then I waited an hour and a half to do my simple dressing, which way too many people were failing. So I was crazy nervous. But I passed, bam. I bet it was because I was sickly sweet and polite when I came in. ALL SMILES.
But yes, today is Wed and I am getting ready for my high fidelity lab. Thats the one where they program the mannequins, and they move and talk and react to whatever you do to them haha. So I'm pretty pumped.
And this afternoon I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be impulsive and get my tattoo that represents my sister :) I called around and one place is taking walk ins, so hmmmm
I'm coming home this weekend bitches
