Time begins to Fly

I spent all this morning cutting checks. Paychecks, everyone wanted holiday pay, plus all the bonus checks. I think I cut over 60 thousands dollars in paper today haha. Big money big money.
So the bonus will be perfect to pay for food and stuff when my rents are in Arizona :)

Last night KK got home for the holidays :) had a quick supper and then I went to play pool with the kick ass people known as Josh Johnny Cortlin Matt and Brittney :)
Just some nice chill visit time. I always enjoy that.

Today is going by fast, so fast. It's quite excellent!
Still have to do some month end stuff. GST, installments, statements, payroll deductions. So I think that I'll be kept fairly busy until the day end :)
Tomorrow is only a half day, so I'm not too worried about being totally awake

Which is good, because right after work I'm supposed to see Hannah for a quick catchup. That may or may not happen lol we shall see
Then at 7 I've been invited to go to the Daniels annual family-go-see-a-movie event. So I'm excited for that, I like the cute cheezy family traditions, even if we are going to see Little Fockers.
After that I have a movie/gift exchange with the lovely Courteny :) so I'm pumped for that too. Which reminds me, I need to get some booze for that....

But Ya, it's going to be a busy night. And an even busier day tomorrow. Can you believe it's Christmas tomorrow? ALready?

The return of Daryl

Last night was probably not as big a deal as I'm about to make it out to be. Maybe it's just cause I was so hungry.
For some reason, whenever I tried to eat something all day I just felt sick, so by the time work was over I was starving.
Cortlin called saying we should go to Bugsys for its cheap drinks and wings. I said yes plz lol. So delicious. SO freaking delicious. I tried the garlic parmesan and it was fantastic. Not as good as the ones at Beileys, but it was pretty great.

After I dropped him off I went and got a tea at the usual place I go by myself lol. McKensie.

Get home, about to go to bed when I realized that I have no wallet. So I go back to Bugsys. No dice. Go to Mckensie, and it was there thank God. So I just cruised around for a bit.
Got home around 11:30, didn't fall asleep until 2 again. I 'm starting to get used to this whole not sleeping thing.

Holy crap tho, Christmas is two days away for me. Comin up way too fast, and I still have to figure out a gift for Curtis! Gah.

Wish I wasn't working the rest of this week :(

Demons in my House

Last night proved the existence of ghosts of demons.....or just science.

I was sitting in my room, when all of a sudden I hear the most crazy violent crash I've ever heard minus tv stuff. So I assume that the dogs have tipped over the bakers rack or torn down the Christmas tree. I run upstairs, screaming at them as I go, but when I go into the kitchen they are just sitting there, and nothing is broken.
So then I started freaking out, went and grabbed my trusty sword and started to investigate the house for what I assumed may be an intruder through a broken window.
Then I notice that the lights in my parents bathroom is flickering.
First thing I saw was glass.
Lots of fucking glass.
Turns out one of the six foot mirror that frame the bathtub broke. Not just broke, like freaking exploded into millions of pieces all over the place.

I have two theories on what happened:
1. An evil demon escaped from the mirror and will now rule my house through epic terror.
2. Because its on an outside wall, the wind cooled down the glue enough that it couldn't hold the weight of the mirror and it just let go.

Haha I'm hoping for two
But seriously, after 20 years, why did that thing have to fall off?
Plus the rents were out so I got to clean up all on my lonesome :(
No fun, the whole time whenever I heard a tiny noise I would jump back ten feet cause I was scared that the second mirror was going to come down on top of me haha

And so the Season begins :)

Friday:
Liz came over right as I got home from work and she gave me some delicious christmas treats and the most beautiful necklace! Thank you lovely :)
Then Cortlin and I went to Dinos to do a quick hey and hello for this beer night thing.
Around nine we went over to Amber's for the traditional Secret Santa :) it was most excellent. Hailey got my name and gave me the most lovely wallet! I adore it, although I shame her for spending way way too much
I drank mostly wine, as well as a few random yag shots, which was a horrible idea.

Cortlin and I went to his house so I could sober up a bit.
Man I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow, and I didn't wake up until 7:30 haha oops.
So I went home and went right back to bed

The good part about drinking wine is my body doesn't feel all pukey or nothing
The Bad part about drinking wine is you get the worst headache of all time
SO I stayed in bed until 2 pm haha

Saturday:
After I crawled out of bed eventually I just hung out with my mom and got ready for my staff Christmas party.
At six Cortlin and I went to Claytons. Cortlin's mom convinced him it was a formal event lol so he was wearing dress pants and a nice dress shirt. He looked pretty sexy I must say
His son Brandon brought a date, and she just so happened to be this girl Bailey that I used to go to daycare with when I was a wee thing. So it was cool to see how much she's grown

When to Jason's house to predrink. Found out that his wife was an old customer of mine when I worked at the coffee shop, and she also was the one who hired Courteny at Hatch.
Crazy small world I tell ya

It was a little awkward, not gonna lie. I hardly recognized any of the guys, because I'm so used to seeing them covered in black grime from head to toe haha. Some of them clean up pretty damn nice

Then we went to the Wildlife Federation for the dinner/dance/drunk time. Food was decent. Drinks made my whole body sad, so I didn't drink too much lol.
Got home around one, and that was pretty much it.
It was fun :)
I enjoyed inhaling the helium balloons then singing "i want a hippopatomus for christmas" lol

Sunday:
Got up at ten and went for dim sum with Matt Cortlin and Joshua :)
It was super delicious

Then i cleaned my room
changed oil in the car
Finished all my christmas shopping except for Curtis :(
wrapped
watched miracle on 29th street
took a nap
went to bed lol

And now I'm back at work
the day is flying
most excellent

So MacEwan called me yesterday.
Apparently I forgot to say whether I want to go to the Edmonton campus or some small town campus haha.
Good call, that could have been a disaster.
So I guess that means that my application is actually being processed:)

SECRET SANTA TONIGHT

You know its Christmas when....

When theres freaking food everywhere.

I thought my office would be a safe place from the temptation of sweets, but NO ITS THE WORST.
Last week some guy brought the office a box of these cookie things.
This morning some other guy brought us a huge assorment of chocolate covered nuts and pretzels from The Nut Man.
And just now we got two huge boxes of Cookies by George! You can't even get cookies by george in Stoon anymore!!!!

The guys learned early that if they ask if I want something, I will say no.
If they put it on my desk and say "help yourself" and then leave it there, eventually i'll crack and eat something haha
I can't NOT eat something thats in front of me

I can't even begin to describe how happy I am about these Cookies by George tho, they are my all time favourite cookie. I can't say no to it!

I wish it was Friday. It has now reached that part of the week where I can hardly keep my eyes open and head up on the computer screen. I'm tired of sitting in this desk lol I want to go for walks or runs.
But tomorrow is Friday and that is good enough for me. Plus it is also going to be the night we do our anual Secret Santa. This is honestly one of my fav traditions. I've done it three...maybe four years? And its always a blast :)

Last night I forced myself to workout, le sigh. I've felt too tired lately to want to accomplish anything except Christmas shopping haha. But I did it and that felt great.
Plus the finale of Hells Kitchen was last night. Nona won. I didn't like either who were the last two, but better Nona then ragin Russel.

Then I had to go and pick up dear Cortlin from Kyles. Him and the guys we drinking and gaming, celebrating their last day of class, some for just the break while other are done school completely.
Cortlin will finish the second semester though

Hopefully today goes by as fast as the rest of this week has!

Wednesday already? Most excellent

Dale called in sick today, and I am somewhat freaking out cause I always get sick around Christmas and that yucky feeling is starting to settle in. So I am going to blame Dale for whatever happens.
But yes, with him gone I am going to have little to accomplish today :(
Sucks

Last night was most excellent. Minus the rain/snow.
Made supper with my mom, had some good girl talk haha. Gave me some good advice actually. Who knew moms were so smart?

I went for coffee with dear Katherine for something like two and a half hours too lol. I don't get to see as much of that girl as I would like :(
So it was nice to catch up.

Oh, and Lucy did have to come in to help me out with the bank rec yesterday. I'm glad she did come, because the problem was something even she had never seen, so I would have never figured it out. And thank God it was a bank mistake and not mine, or else I would have felt pretty shitty.

And she brought baby Kazik (pronounced kaz-ick) who is the most beautiful child I have ever seen. And so well behaved too. Well, all he did was sleep haha. Which was somewhat dissapointing because I really wanted to hold him :(
But Lucy says she will bring him back another time for me to babysit haha.

Secret Santa friday! And my ugly christmas sweater is in the mail! I found it on forever 21 of all places. Not as ugly as I wanted, but enough for the one night.

Someone fix this asap

I'm gonna have to email Lucy today. Everytime I think I figure out whats wrong with the bank rec, it just gets worse.

On a better note, I went for supper with Courteny last night :) We went to Moxies and it was fantastic, I had calamari. Minus the screaming child at the table next to us, the mood was rather chill and wonderful.
So we caught up and that was grand :)

When I got home I went to watch gossip girl but it wasnt on :( so I just worked out and watched TRansformers 2 haha. Megan Fox is so hot.
Kyle's bbm photo happened to be of mrs fox so of course I had to comment on it, so that started a convo about how, given the chance, we would totally do her lol.

Woke up around one
didnt sleep again :(
Josh was D and noticed my complaining on Twitter so he kept me company for a brief while haha. Much appreciated.
Then I watched YouTube and was oh so tempted to online shop.

I can't get this stupid bank reconciliation to balance and it's driving me insane. I can't seem to allocate 300,000.00 and it freaking doesn't make sense.

Quiet weekend, cold weekend

I thought this weekend would feel like a long one, but it actually went by really fast.

Friday morning was Grandmas funeral. It was nice, although sad just as you'd expect. During the lunch I bit into my cheek so hard that it was bleeding lol so I started bawling for a whole other reason.
That night the family as well as Doug and Madaline went to the Granery for one last hooray supper before D&M dissapeared for good. It was delicious, plus I got their peanut butter pie which I utterly adore.

After that I went over to Cortlins. We ended up going to Dave's apartment where he, Sean, Doug and James were chilling. It was a quiet night, although i learned much about guessing women's breast size and male masterbation >_< oh bro talk.

Saturday I slept in... and then I just ran errands with mum :)

That night me and Cortlin went to the lovely james' house where I got a little silly curtosy of good ol yag. Had a few good laughs, but another quiet night. After Coco and I got mcdicks and started to watch Eddie Murphy standup.

Sunday I wanted to sleep for days, but I had my first ever massage at noon

Then the whole family came over to celebrate Mason's bday. Cortlin came too, and got a little warm up for what xmas eve will be like. lol
everyone kept patting him on the head as they were leaving haha. Hopefully they didnt scare him away...

The scar where I bit in my cheek has now turned into like five kanker sores, holy fuck im miserable because of it. Anything I eat/drink is excruciating. woe is me :(

My Tongue Hurts

It feels like I spent last night chewing on my tongue :( it aches and hurts to eat, so I don't enjoy this at all!

Last night we met up with Bobs brother Doug and his wife Madeline for supper because they came to town for Grandmas funeral.

I hate these people.

Let me give you some background. Doug is Bobs older brother. He's a super genius. Like crazy super genius. Hes some super engineer who went to work in Amsterdam with some big secret government company right out of college. He made tons of money and was saving the world or something.
But one day he decided to quit and he goes and buys a boat that he sails around Victoria. Meets Madeline the super hippie that drives me insane cause shes so god damn loud and keeps interrupting.
Anyway, the whole time ive known Doug he has avoided his family like the plauge. never comes to xmas because he doesnt believe in it etc etc
The most I ever saw him was when his dad died. Mostly because he had to taKe anything of value from the house and wait for a big fat check.
So his mom has been sick for ages, and not once did he come see her! after she died he refused to even go to her viewing because he was having a premadonna moment of complaining because Bob didnt include him in the funeral planning.

So we are at dinner and all they can talk about is all the exciting places they've been (they sold the boat and now live in a motorhome, traveling the continent).

Frustrating ppl I tell ya

Guaranteed that as soon as the funeral is done and the estate is split, we will never hear from then again.

So tired today :(

Monday was a long day, after getting back from the hospital I called the office to let them know what went down and I offered to come in in the afternoon if there was anything that needed to be done. But they told me to stay home.
But I didn't feel like staying in the house. So I went to the bookstore, wandered around there for a bit.
Then Cortlin txt me telling me to meet him at Yip Hong for lunch. So that was nice.
After I still didn't feel like going home so I went and did some more Christmas shopping. Almost done now, four more people to go!

Got home and my grandparents as well as Bobs friend was there to pay their respects.
Cortlin called saying because I was sad he would put aside his distaste for Harry Potter and take me to see the new movie :) He's so sweet, I adore this man.
So we went to the movie, and it was super fantastic. There were only two parts that I didnt like. When Harry and Hermione were dancing and when the illusions of them were making out. It was just super awkward, made me shiver.

Yesterday I went back to work expecting to have a ton of work to do, but it looked like I hadnt missed much on Monday. So yesterday dragged.
Got home, then mom came in with Kayla who she had just picked up at the bus depot. Shes got a cute new haircut :)
Then the whole family went to Aroma restraunt in the Radisson. It was pretty great actually. Super fancy, but nice. And the food was good too :)

I bailed at eight though because I had made plans with Liz to go for coffee :) So I picked her up and we went to our usual spot. It was nice visiting with her, I don't get to see her as much as I would like. But we always just pick up where we left off :)

Got home around ten, fell asleep around 11.
Hit the snooze button twice sigh.
still tired.

Warning: Unhappy post

Woke up this morning to the phone ringing, since it was six I immediately guessed it was the hospital. So I picked up the phone while Bob was on the other line to eavesdrop. Sure enough, my grandma was down to taking breathes only once every 20 seconds or so and they wanted the family down to say their goodbyes.
Bob left first, then me, then mom.

I didn't make it in time.

Bob did though, which is whats important. He gave her a quick kiss and said "go be with dad" and that was it.

Nurses let me and my mom go in to say our goodbyes. For a brief moment I didn't want to see her. I am personally terrified of death, the thought of nothing is my worst nightmare.
But I went in, and I'll spare you details on an alreayd too detailed entry. Which I appologise for, but writing is the way I deal and this is my tool to use. :(

So we prayed, and I kissed her goodbye.

I saw her yesterday, and she looked worse then ever. She had no idea who I was.
For a brief moment I hated mankind for what we've accomplished in medicine. My grandma had been suffering for over a month, and because of the wonder of medicine it only prolonged it.
Sometimes I think we treat our pets better then we do our own kind. We would never let the family dog suffer like that, we put it to rest.
Not saying that thats how I think we should go about it, but there are times where I don't understand why anyone would want to try and help prolong an inevitable deteriorating condition.
Hope I guess?
Not at that age...

Too tired to come up with a title

Last night was one of those nights that just happens, and it's awesome :)

Cortlin had people over, and it started out pretty chill which was nice. I enjoy catching up with people.

At one point we decided to go to McDonalds because I kept seeing the new xmas nugget dipping sauce commercial and I was super determined to try it out. SO wasn't worth it. Johnny put it perfectly, it was like dipping nuggets in jam. But i'm glad i tried it for sake of experimentation haha

Ran into Owen there and he was with some people that I believe were a year or two younger then us at Joes? Ya they said that they were going to meet us back at Cortlins, and for some reason when we saw them standing outside the house we drove away again? Lol except Owen was hanging onto the door and got dragged/thrown into the snow.

Cortlin fell down a flight of stairs, right on his ass haha. I tried not to laugh, but it was unsuccessful and we all lol'd. He is not a happy camper this morning.

And then we all sat around the computer and went major nostalgia on pictures of all the shows we used to watch as kids. A lot of laughs were had :)

It was a really good time actually.

So far my plan of not drinking until xmas is going pretty good! I enjoy waking up and not feeling gross.

Although I am tired. When Cortlin wakes up he refuses to go back to sleep and entertains himself by tying knots in my hair and poking me while whining. Lovely haha

I intended to write this blog five minutes ago, but I got distracted by the white cheese popcorn I brough tfor lunch. Freaking delicious ^_^

Came to work this morning to the guys freaking out because they found out that Lucy hadn't taken a couple ex employees off the insurance policy so they had gone like nine months with our coverage haha. So I used my mad mad skills and fixed that shit like it was nuttin.
Just kidding it was annoying, Im still sending emails back and forth with GWL trying to figure it all out.

The guys all go out for lunch every Friday so I get to stay here and man the desk with the sole purpose of telling people who call that they are gone and I would LOVE to take a message.

But its ok, because today is Friday and Friday is gold :)

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my job. I just enjoy it more when I have something to do. Yesterday was freak show busy so of course today has to be dead with nothing to accomplish.
Nothing to even write about really. Last night all I did was work out then watch the finale to Americas next top model (to which I was very dissapointed) and then watched some Hells Kitchen which was also kind of lame because they've kicked out every person who I thought deserved to win. Now its just assholes.

But tonight is Thursday, which means Vampire Diaries and Fringe. Joy :)
I watch too much tv :(

I need a second job again haha. I'm kind of regretting quitting Outlaws....I don't miss the work, but I sure do miss the extra money :(

Just Breathe

Today is freaking busy. Its already almost one and I havent even finished my morning duties yet haha. So I came in today, couldnt find the new times cards that I had made yesterday, go out into the shop to discover that some genius had gone into my desk and put them out. And the stupid guys didn't know what day it was and started stamping in on everyday but Dec 1st. Lol so entertaining.
Did some installments or whatever they are called. I have to start learning the lingo a bit. Like allocated. I see that god damn word a million times a day and I only kinda know what it means.

Clayton asked me to make up a christmas card for the company to mail out, so I went and made something that I thought was pretty great, but it kinda got kyboshed for something more simple. Le sigh.

I'm tired today tho :(
Last night I watched the Victoria Secret fashion show, which to be honest is one of the many things I look forward to on an annual basis. I think those women are the most beautiful people on the planet. Even though their asses alone have six layers of makeup >_< and the majority of them are underage. Its a good show anyway.

lol sorry, that was awkward.
But yes, after work yesterday I met Courteny and Mallory at Yip Hong for supper :) and as always it was fantastic. It was really nice to visit too. I haven't seen Mal in a long time, and I miss seeing Courteny every day haha.

I also got some xmas shopping done for my mom too :) so thats always good. I went home and watched my gossip girl while wrapping gifts, which is my favourite part of christmas to be honest. The wrapping, not the gossip girl :-p

I'm more tired then usual today, dunno why. was just a big struggle to drag myself out of bed :(

weekends why must you fly

This weekend flew by, which made me extra sad when my alarm went off this morning.

Friday: got off work, then as soon as I got home Cortlin came and picked me up and we went for nom nom sushi :) after that we watched Venture Bros until about 930 when we went to Wisntons to meet the bros
Went to the basement of Wisntons for the first time, and I totally love it down there. Mostly because there is no loud music, just a table of ultra loud hipsters sitting next to us. They came to party, and party they did. rounds of shots every five seconds.
Josh was in town too :) I love when I find out suddenley that that beautiful man is in town. and sporting a super beard too :-p

I wasn't in my usual social mood, which I appologise for. With all this school crap never working out for me, I feel quite disheartened as of late.

After a nice visit Cortlin and I watched The Hoard. lol not a bad zombie movie actually, it a french movie that was somewhat well dubbed.

Saturday: I was lazy for the majority of the morning until Marge called me at 2 saying her and Danielle were making Turtles chocolates for christmas and they wanted me to come over and have some girl time haha. I was expecting some good laughs, but I wasn't expecting four bottles of wine and dozens of various horrible shots.
Least to say by 330 we were all drunk and had forgotten all about the Turtles. It was so much fun tho, some good quality time that we probably mostly forgot. Curtis was not too impressed when the boys got home from snowmobiling lol

Once Cortlin and the guys got back from CC we all piled into Owens car and went to Pacific Billards for Courteny's last day working there. Played some pool, etc etc it was a good time. Got to see Chris Brown again and finally got to meet Delaine :)

Sunday: Got up, went to some breakfast place with my dad on 8th street and then helped him do some xmas shopping for my sister :)
went home, helped mom decorate the Christmas tree. I made us coffee and Beileys. did u know that after ten years or so beileys does indeed go bad? holy crap it tasted like utter poo
Then bob made an array of wings and ribs and appetizers and we watched the Rider game. I got bored and lost faith by eight so I went to bed haha

Tried to access the online Agrium (our biggest vendor) accont to add a price to a P&A they had sent us. When i tried to do it I got locked out saying a quote of 0$ had already been sent

Brittney and I went out to our usual spot last night for tea and good talks. I brought my mass of tourist like papers of all the places I researched and she brought her laptop and magazine. Europe is a go. We are planning on leaving July 15th and going for....14 days? 11? depends if we choose to do the extension.
I'm freaking excited. I went home and started to tell my mom and she doesn't believe that we are actually going to do it, even though we will be booking it as soon as the Christmas season is over and we have a better idea of what our funds are like.

Today I am at work, as usual. Bored. As usual.
So I made a Christmas list to help out Corltin and the fam jam. Everything on it is a kitchen/cooking thing. I have a one track mind right now I geuss.

Thank God today is payday. My Visa needs to be paid off asap. stupid christmas.

I think I am going to decorate the office tomorrow.

Christmas shopping, You loose

Online shopping is the best thing to happen to the planet since car bum warmers.
Why?
I placed an order for a gift on tuesday, and it arrived at my house curtosy of a pretty man by wednesday night. Kick ass. A bunch of other stuff came in the mail this week too. SO that means I am almost half way done my christmas shopping!

Tonight Brittney and I are going to get together for coffee to discuss our exit strategy to Europe for this summer. All week I've been online googling places to see in London, Paris and Rome. So far London has been getting the most detail. Theres a bunch of restraunts I want to try, as well as this place called Ice Bar where , yep, everything is made of ice.
Plus all the historic stuff that our tour won't cover. Theres an interactive music museum thats state of the art that I think Britt would appreciate :)
Paris I didnt look too much just because I know how everything is going to be...stupid expensive.
I'm excited to discuss anyway :) its something to look forward to.

I'm craving taco time, someone please stop me before I destroy my insides.

Nothing ever goes My way

So the weekend was good, Friday I went to James' and got a little silly. Josh Nargang dumped an ice bucket full of water all over me, which was just lovely. Everyone ended up crashing there and the next morning Cortlin had the idea of being the breakfast fairy. So we went to the store and got some supplies to suprise everyone.
Was lazy all day.
Around six Caitlin came over and we got ready for Kim's bday pubcrawl. It would have been more fun if Caitlin hadn't have been having super drama with her ex tho :( we left the pubcrawl cause she wanted to go back to Outlaws and pretty much as soon as we got there I got ditched lol. So I wasn't too impressed. Still love her tho!

Sunday I went, or attempted, to go xmas shopping with Courteny. I didn't end up finding anything tho :( So I think I'll stick to online shopping on my breaks at work haha.

Later in the day I went and picked up Venice House pizza and went to watch the Rider game with Cortlin. we won :) hoorah?! lol it really doesn't impact my life too much.

There was one thing that kinda bummed me all weekend, I got a letter from SIAST. They told me that classes are once again full for next fall, and to be honest I'm pretty devestated. I applied a year ago, got told I had to wait, and now I have to wait more?
I am at a loss. I don't know what I should freaking do now. Apply to Edmonton? Give up and just continue working? I'm a grumpy mess today.
Just want my eyes to stop tearing constantly so Clayton doesn't notice lol.

Dominated those payables

I like busy days alot better then not busy days. Although there are moments where I wonder if I will get all my work done. Lucy said it was ok to leave work overnight, but I don't like it :( makes me feel unaccomplished.
I just finished doing all the payables, which is sorting through a month of invoices, posting them all to Simple Accounting then making cheques and mailing them out. Pretty easy, just time consuming.
I look behind me and see that Dale has finally started billing things out for me to invoice, so theres a honking huge pile to get through before day end.

Enough boring talk

I'm at work, as per usual. I am quite bored, as per usual. I don't know how Lucy kept herself busy.

Last night was fun. Went to Reb Lobster for Jaxon's birthday :) got to see the lovely Graham for a bit, and i recognised our server but for the longest time I couldn't figure out from where until I realized, oh yes..we worked at McDicks together haha. Good times.
Marge made another tiramisu cake which was and always will be fantastic.

Not sure what's going on for Christmas right now. Cortlin is still coming to Vonda but his family wasn't able to make it to Saskatoon so they are still planning on going to Medicine Hat. Cortlin says he's gonna drive up Christmas morning and will drive back Boxing day. I want to still go, but whos knows whats going to happen now.

This snow has got me in a funk tho
Every now and then I look out the window at work and see my car slowly but surely getting burried under a snow drift haha. Gonna be fun trying to get home :(

Tonight I want to go to bed early. These early mornings aren't doing me any favours.

Happy birthday Jaxon

I never knew that that was how Jaxon spelled his name >_< I thought it was Jackson. So I suck. But yes, tonight is his birthday so The Daniels, The Cranks and I think the Germans? and me, are going to Red Lobster for supper. I'm really excited about this because there is no food in my house. For the past three days my bagged lunch to work has consisted of mixed nuts and those sweet pea pod things. Freaking sucks.

Oh ya, I'm working at Shear Fab now. Lucy had her baby somewhat no really unexpectadly on Remembrance Day. She was determined to have it on the 14th, but too bad, baby decides. I can't remember what she named him, but I really love it. Its weird. Something that starts with a C. I'll get back to you on that.
So far work has been....important. I say that because everything I've been doing has been substantial in terms of work. I've never really done anything of uber importance, unless you consider coffee completely without a doubt neceassary.

Sammy was in town this weekend! It was awesome. Friday we had a girls night and a bunch of us went to Tequila. I got us past the line, but I have a feeling that that will be the last time I can do that, cause my last night at Outlaws was Sat.
It was a fun night though. I never get drunk when I plan to anymore haha. I feel like such a bummer.
Ran into Lacy at Tequila, an old friend from Outlaws. she raged for a bit and told me to come work at Tequila haha but I think I'm over the bar scene for a while.
Ended the night with some delicious hot n readys. Amber had never had them before which blew my mind! she didnt even know what they were! love that girl

Sat I worked. Sam and her sister came out around midnight, and as soon as they came I basically stopped working except for the occasional walk aorund the room to appear busy to Blair and Curtis. It was a good last night :) mostly because I found a 100 dollar bill on the floor. haha and that is the very reason I only take 5$ bills to bars.

Oh. So news update. Brittney and I are going to Europe this summer. Yup, its happening and I am so pumped. She has always wanted to go to London and I am all about Rome. So we found a tour that goes London-Paris-Rome.
Now I just need to save up the money!
Which reminds me....pretty sure my passport has expired.

Happy Halloween

Last night was the big Halloween bash at Amber's :) it was most excellent
My costume was stupid, but oh well, it was ultra super last minute. I went over to Cortlin's early to help Matt do his hair to be Fry from Futurama lol. With Cortlin going as Bender they both looked super awesome :-p
Went to Outlaws for a bit with Kat and Brit. I do enjoy the place, especially when we don't have to wait in lines and the drinks come fast and cheap :)

Oh, and I finally got my crown in after a week of hell at the dentist :) and it looks pretty awesome, I actualy like it better then my real tooth haha. Worth the pain and frustration

Tonight I'm supposed to work, but that all depends on how today goes. Grandma isn't doing too great, so I'll be spending the majority of my day there .

Your Dreams are Safe

I haven't even looked outside yet today, but I know there is going to be snow based on the moans and groans i'm hearing over bbm haha.
So much for my bday wish of no snow until mid Nov :( oh well, that's Saskatchewan for ya. With our luck maybe it will melt in a day or so.

So far my week has been lazy, just how i like it. Yesterday I went to Cortlins nice and early and woke him up to go for dim sum. Always a good time. Then he decided that I needed to be more supportive of his hobbies lol aka Halo.
So I broke the promise I made to myself and attempted to learn how to play. I warned him that watching me would be frustrating as hell, but he didn't seem to think it would be. Haha I love saying I told you so!
Yes, so that was me being an awesome supportive gf.

Now he says he'll come to My Darkest Days on my bday, even though I know he would rather remove his eyes with a dirty spoon. So thanks baby :)

I was supposed to have a haircut at 10 this morning but she called and pushed me back until noon. le sigh. SO i think I should go look for a wig for my Amy costume.

Oh that gorgeous fro

So where do I even begin. It has been a month since my last blog post, more then that even :(

Well, my last blog said I was going to see Sam so I may as well start there :)
I went, and it was kick ass. I missed her so damn much that that trip went by way too fast. We mostly chilled and wandered around 100 mile house, her giving me all the sweet tours of the waterfalls, the 108 and her detatchment. Got to meet the guys she works with, and holy crap they are awesome, and so hillarious.
Leaving was the worst tho :( not just because I was leaving Sammy but also because I chose the most inconvienient way home. Flying to Vancouver where I had a three hour layover so I got sushi that was suprisingly subpar for the major hype i gave it in my mind.
Then I flew to Calgary for another hour give or take and then home. I guess it was only seven or eight hours in total but still, it was a long trip home.

Since then I haven't been very productive at all. Working here and there at Bobs office, and getting my work training for ShearFab, which is going to be brutal btw haha. I understand everything new that they want me to do, its just alot to remember and I always feel nervous handling other peoples money, for fear I'll somehow mess up the numbers and put them in debt haha.

On an exciting note, Cortlin has asked me to join his family this Christmas. Originally they wanted me to go out to Medicine Hat with them to see the family but it would mean I would have to sacrifice my entire three day christmas tradition so I was hesitant. The Marge called the family and told them that she was hosting xmas in stoon so now their whole family is coming out here just so that i can be a part of it and still see my family too :) So Cortlin will get to be with my family of xmas eve, and i his on xmas day.
This makes me nervous. I've never been to a big holiday event of a boyfriends. Im excited but it feels like a first date all over again where i really just want to make a good impression >_<

In more recent news. I went to Coheed and Cambria last night with Cortlin Matt Owen and Josh N. It was probably one of the best live bands ive ever seen. His voicce was flawless, and his fro was seductive haha. I wish they had played at a bigger venue tho, even if their fan base isn't huge, they were too good for the Odeon.

I'm tempted to delete all my old posts and start fresh.

I feel like im constantly going lately. Working two jobs sucks, especially when working until four in the morning knocks me out in the human department for an extra day. I do my best tho

On the subject, work is fun. Friday was the night I saw more catfights then ever before. I never want to fight a girl. I would rather fight a guy to be honest. Girls are fucking vicious.

I have exciting news tho :) Oct 5th im gonna fly out to see Sam in BC! gah im so pumped. I miss her dearly and really wanna see her place, so that is my plan as of now!

Bare legs are a target for booze

I intended to write an entry after I worked at Outlaws Thurs, but I was too tired. SO I shall start now.

THURSDAY
Outlaws was dead as dead can be in a bar. I think 30 ppl was the most we ever had in there at one time. Kayla and her friend Rika came to visit which was nice :) although Kayla seriously needs to work on her drop shots skills! haha, sorry love, but sipping it just won't cut it.
Courteny came too :) I loved seeing her because I had been working in the Atrium all week so it was weird not being able to talk to her everyday like normal.
There was this one customer that was interesting tho. He said he was really important and that I needed to remember him, as he was the manager of the DAWGS franchaise aka those stupid shoes I hate. Apparently they carry boots now too? Well, he gave me his card with some information on it, saying I would get a free pair of boots if I showed the people his card. Im skeptical to believe him.
A few other random things happened, one guys asked in a drunken slur if he could be my sugar daddy, and Eli the bouncer had to bounce a guy who tried to follow me to my car haha.

FRIDAY
I got home from OL at 3:30 and woke up at 5:30 to get ready to open at Concourse. Suprisingly I was awake and super chippers until about lunch time. Then I died inside and out.
Went home at 3 and slept until four.\
Then Cortlin and I went to the Keg for dinner :) I had the most delicious salmon of my life! So good, it melted in my mouth. Cortlin of course had steak which he keeps insisting I eat, but the thought of that much red meat just doesnt sit well with me
After that we went quickly to his house to meet up with Kayla and Matt. I did 3 yagerbombs to warm up for the nights events. Also looked at some pics of Curtis and Marge from what I think was the 80s/ man Marge was the cutest thing ever :)

Then we went to Osheas to meet up with the gang for Josh's farewell party :)
first thing I did was buy the table a round of burt reynolds shots. Not sure why haha it was very out of character for me, so I'll blame working at the bar and the sudden influx of tip money I feel like I need to throw around.
So we had some drinks there. Then casually made our way across the street to Scratch to do some more drinking. Considering the amount I drank; 3 yag bomb, 3 vodka barlime, 2 dropshots, 1 tequilla popper, 4 shooters. I expected myself to be drunk. But I just felt dizzy, and then suddenly the few hours of sleep finally caught up with me and I absolutely crashed :(
So like a big loser, I called a cab and Kayla Cortlin and I went home.

Oh, on the way home Cortlin decided that he wanted to order pizza. So he ordered some, and when we got home he changed into a pair of tight red christmas pj bottoms and one of my crop top bar shirts that is all low in the back. Then he proceeds to answer the door in a very....gay way.
Haha it was pretty funny tho

My fav part of the whole night was that Kayla and Coco got along :)

SATURDAY
woke up around nine and went for dim sum
watched Jersey Shore
slept until 5.

Then I got ready for another night at Outlaws. Got there and found out that Friday night had been stressful for Catherine as she had been the only waitress on :(
I had Cheryl as my bartender, which initially terrified me from all the stories I had heard about her temper and violent outburts. She must have smelled my fear or something because she was really nice to me lol
Tips were no good though, everyone was being super stingy :(
But hey, even a small amount of tips is still money I didnt have before I guess

OH! at one point Todd pours something all over the serfice of his bar, and then lights it on fire. Then he scoops up a handful of flames, no joke, and blows it into this huge HUGE fire ball that went from one end of the bar to half across. I shit myself it was so damn impressive.
I demand he do that every single night :)

Monday is the big Exporte event at the bar. They spent 35000 bucks on it, and its apparently super exclusive, super swanky. And the tips are supposed to be totally amazing. So im really excited for it :)

I feel like I accomplish so much more when I'm not at work all day haha

I went down to SIAST at nine to take my exams. It was supposed to be at ten but since I was The only one taking it I got to go in early.

Then she just let me take my second test instead of me having to wait until one. suprisingly aced that one too. Blew my mind, not gonna lie. I figured that after not using my brain for like a year it had melted into the corner of my skull or something.

After that i went and helped Cortlin clean the house a bit.
Then I went down to Brigadier and worked there for a few hours. All of this I did before five haha. So i feel like I did alot today. Kinda

Currently I am watching Cortlin play some strange game. Im lovin the new laptop cause its just so tiny and easy to take places and such and such

I'm really tired tho
and I almost forgot that I am still required to work tomorrow :(

Why don't I blog anymore? Seriously, its troubling. Maybe I feel like I don't have enough to write about, but then I look and see that I went from writing nearly everyday to now once a week at best. Its sad really. I really used to love this.

So this will be my attempt to get back into it, as stuff is actually going to be happening for the rest of this week that isn't just work.

For the past week or so I've been going from my day job, home to do a quick workout, and then downtown to Bob's office to help him reoraganize his shop/storage mess. He had a bunch of new shelves put in and such and such so I got to pretend like I know what any of his security equipment was a put it in semi-organized categories.

Today I couldn't go tho, as my mother finally got the nerve to drag my ass to the local blood clinic thinger to get some bloodtests done that my doctor asked I do like three weeks ago. So we went there, and demanded that I get to lay down and my mommy come hold my hand. haha oh needles, how you take my breath away and make me want to drop dead rather then have you touch me :(
So we go in, I lay down. Then this little asian lady comes in and the look on her face is a very frank "you pussy" as she straps on the rubber rope thingy and sticks me with the god damn needle.
And oh baby, I didn't pass out or nothin :) maybe its because the whole time we were waiting out in the lobby I was sucking on a lolipop like the sugar was the only thing keeping me alive haha

So ya, now Im just sitting in my room, studying for these exams that I have to go to SIAST for to take tomorrow. good times good times
They look easy from the practise ones I've done, but god knows they'll go right ahead and throw imaginary numbers at me :(

Im writing this blog entry from a not shitty laptop, imagine that. I didnt think that I would ever get rid of the horrible piece of crap that ive been lugging around since the ninth grade :)
So im quite the happy camper

Last night I went for supper with mom and Bob to Athenas and I kept comparing the food to Boffins. I had a wrap with spinach tomatos cucumber and pesto in it. It was good, but it was something that Boffins would sell. It was nine dollars, and twice as big but with half the sides. SO i guess tha Boffins gives the better deal, cause we only charge 8 btw
So thats what I learned there.
Then I went and met Matt Josh and Johnny at Winstons for a beer and some grand catch up time. Then James and Dave showed up, super drunk and sassy haha
An adventure was then needed, which was in the form of walking over to Midtown where Cortlin let us in and gave the guys the grand tour of his job. Went on the roof and in some creepy tunnel that I found cool while I led the way, but as soon as we turned around to leave and I was in the back, i got terrified everytime I turned around to see in something was following me.
Then I went home and watched mass amounts of Trueblood

This morning I went to midtown and spent too much money on a pair of jeans that I think I got in the wrong size although I may as well try and shrink them to see, seeing as I already took the tags off, god im such a dumbass
Then before I went to help mom and Bob I tried to soak up some sun and just ended up overheated and sad and tired.
Helped them, hurt my back somehow
Then I went over to Cortlins neighbours for a block party/gathering of the four or five cool families. Marge fed me drink after drink with the help of dear Curtis. I guess their goal of the night was to make me feel super blushy and awkward cause they were all asking what my intentions with Cortins were and that they demanded invites to the wedding -_- I told them that the mock wedding was in December. big jk
I honestly envy that kind on neighbourhood relationship though. My family and our neighbours hardly ever talk to eachother excep for when my mom swaps shopping stories with Janet haha

Then the lovely Johnny came and got me with his camera for his documentary thingy. Which is sweet btw. I wanna do that all the time :)
Went to James, hung out there and chilled.
Started a fire in the backyard firepit which made me really wanna go pack to Emma lake and eat massive ammounts of meat over a fire haha mmm scallops

Then I decided to walk back to my car to burn off some of those cocktails. Some truck attempted to throw their drink at me as I walked haha, Overshot the target big time and so I just laughed. But then they urned around so I ducked down a catwalk haha
Got back to Cortlins where my car was and his parents were still goin hard with the party haha. hat was super sweet. They gave me heck for not calling for a ride, but oh wells.

And now Im home. and super tired for some reason

Yup, in winter Sam and I are gonna go on a hot vacation I believe. Probably Mexico, nothing too exciting.
Then I was thinking of going on the cruise that my mom went on all over Europe. It just seems like a decent way to travel.

Weekend was quiet, but it was good.

Refer to Johnny's blog for the Friday story lol. Im too lazy to write about it.

Saturday morning I went for lunch with Cortlin, he got a new xbox, I found ten bucks in the parking lot of peir one. Then I went home and tried to nap but everyone kept making god damn noise.
Kat picked me up later and we went to Osheas. Then the lovely Britney joined us and we had a good visit. Saved this guy named Lee's life apparently, cause he decided to pee on some guys car and decided to hide from the enraged owner by buying us a drink lol.
Kat was gonna drop me off but as soon as we got to my house we decided it was too early so we went on an adventure of immature girly proportions. Ands thats all I'm allowed to discuss haha.
Then we went to her house and went through all the old pictures from our 15 years we've spent together. Not even kidding, that girl has kept every letter/note/card ive written her since we were five years old. It was intense. Nostalgia at its finest.

Sunday I went for lunch with my pop to Kelly's Kafe, its was delicious as always.
Then I went and watched a bit of the game, managed to catch the end. Go Spain :) it was a pretty sweet game, lots of fouls which is always fun to watch.

Happy Birthday Defender against Evil aka Bob :)

So Bob turned 53 today, holy crap haha. I didnt really know what to get the man who has everything. SO i baked him a cake and made him supper. The cake was the best part by far, super duper delicious. Even tho I cheated and used one of those box cakes, the decorating was all me baby.

Last night a bunch of us went to Bugsy's.It was awesome. Darren is kick ass as he remembered us and even remember what I drank. You just dont see good customer service like that anymore :)

After Boot Cortlin and I went to Cortlin's house to game or whatever, I was planning on watching. Alas, his xbox had the red ring of death :)
Call me a monster, but this was the happiest moment of my day by far. There are days when I have considered smashing that god damn box of entertainment. judge how you will haha.
But he thinks he can fix it.

I got zero hours of sleep last night so when my alarm went off i said fuck it and txt Bev and Courteny telling them that I needed at least three hours or I'd cry throughout my entire shift.

Lazy days, i need an adventure

It feels like its already Sunday, so fancy my surprise when I checked my phone and its only Friday :) I do love long weekends. Except for the fact that everyone seems to go to their respective lakes. I wish I had a lake :(

Let's see. Wednesday after work I ran a bunch of errands and by the time I got home I suddenly got hit with this weird sickness. So I pretty much died inside a few times, attempted to nap but that didnt work cause everytime I lay down i wanted to puke.
So i watched Book of Eli with mom and bob, then read til whenever.

Woke up thursday feeling kinda better. Picked up Cortlin and went to Galaxy to kill his soul by forcing him to watch Eclipse haha.
It wasn't that great actually. When there was action scenes it was pretty good, but the diologue was painful, and followed the book way to closely which sucks cause stephanie meyer sucks. All in all I'd give it like a 6/10

Got home just as my rents went out, so I decided I didnt wanna be alone so I went over to Cortlins and read while he and Matt played Just Cause and Gears of War.
Stayed there til seven, went home. had supper

Then Cortlin picked me up at ten and we went to Midtown to watch the Canada day fireworks from the roof of the tower. A couple, and the the security guards came up as well so it was super chill. The fireworks were meh, lasted about ten minutes and we were too far away for my camera to get any decent shots.
After that we went home and watched Bad Boys 2 haha. longest movie ever. super funny tho. I miss movies from the 90s and such where its was just all action and good humour.

Today i want to do nothing. I worked out for a bit, now mom wants me to clean my car and make cookies.

Closer to Love

This weekend was a blur. I love and hate busy weekends. I love them because I never have to wonder what Im doing, but I hate them because it seems that by the time I take a breath its Sunday and I should already be in bed.

The title of this blog is a song that I am currently listen to, by Matt Kearney and its gorgeous. I adore it :) I cant play it loud enough. Its makes my mind wander to those lovey dovey day dreams I always catch myself having. Those romantic moments that will never happen haha

SO I'm gonna do my best to recap my weekend.

FRIDAY:
I wasnt really sure what was all going on with everyone and what was going to happen, so I decided to just flow with it. I went to the skuz at seven in my army ish garb to go on Kayla P. pub crawl. I thought it was a pretty good turn out. More girls then guys, and every single one of the girls was blonde and beautiful haha.
First we went to the Hose, where I got a mini pitcher of vodka+special. I finished it in like 20 minutes, with little to no effect on my brain. Which made me wonder when the hell it became so easy for me to drink. It was like chugging water. sigh.
Then we went to the Pat where I only have not so fond memories haha. One of the girls on the pub crawl whos name i cant remember came up to me in the bathroom and asked if I wanted to do a shot of whiskey with her from a secret flask she had snuck in. I said sure why not. It was disgusting. I hated everything it did to me haha
Oh, and then Kayla shot a guy in the face with a water gun. It was hillarious
Then we went to the pat, where I had the most delicious shot of my life! I wish I could remember what it was called, by it was creamy and tasted just like chocolate icecream.

Then Cortlin came and picked me up cause I wanted to be with him when midnight hit and it was his birthday. We stopped by James' really quickly to say a breif hello. Then we went to cocos.
Ok, so I was watching the clock, and at 11:59 his cellphone rings, and I can hear that its someone saying happy birthday. Turns out with was this Aaron guy from his class. Man I was pissed, I wanted to say Happy Birthday first damnit :( SO like a true brat I pouted for about half an hour.
Then we watched this show called Outbreak. Man it was good. I dont feel like explaining it, so just watch it.

SATURDAY:
Woke up around nine, to my mother telling me she was leaving in ten minutes and I was expected to go with her. So I quickly got somewhat acceptable then we ran a few errands before going to pick up kk from the bus depot.
Then Kayla and I went shopping. I bought a belt, but that was it, so im proud of my restraint lol
Oh, and we went to mystic java to go and visit Mikki who I have recently rekindled my deep love/friendship with haha. I missed that girl and stories of her epic adventures.

Went home and got ready to go to samurai for supper for my mommys 50th birthday. We got her a gift certificate for vogue photoghraphy to get an updated family photo sometime this fall. She seemed pretty excited about it, so props to me for my brilliant ideas haha they are so few and in between.

I quickly went over to Cortlins to give him his birthday gift. I got him two n64 controlers cause his had broken, and the difficult game to get a hold of called Harvest Moon for n64 lol. So I hope he liked it, he seemed excited enough :)

Went to Samurai. Had chicken liver and scallops and shrimp and everything freaking delicious. SO that was awesome. On the way out we saw Carrie Underwood walking right in front of us. Man shes so adorable. super tiny. So that was cool

Got to Cortlins, quickly tried to catch up on some drinking. Kayla left, shock. So then the rest of us went to Finns off the University bridge. It was super awesome, it's not wuite as awesome as Winstons, but its right up there with new places that I love to hang out.
We stayed there for about 2 hours, then Cortlin wanted to go home and a few of the guys wanted to go to Scratch to catch up with Daves lady love :)
Chelsea, bless her, drove Cortlin James Boots and I. The whole way Boots kept saying Meow and biting poor chelsea. James just lay in the back seat laughing. As they were dropped off downtown they decided to get out of the car and jump on the roof >_<

Finally managed to get to Cortlins. Thanks Chelsea!!!!
Cortlin adn I startedto watch a movie but he was being sassy and super drunk so we ended up fighting. Which is super fun when hes drunk cause he has zero strength so I get to punch and lick his eyelids without consequence. Pretty grand.

I had sobered up by three so I just drove home!

SUNDAY:
woke up to a super sad hungover Cortlin wanting dim sum. So I picked him up. He got yelled at by his parents for trying to leave his house in sweatpants haha. disgraceful I tell ya.
We went, it was busy, good but not great. Then I dropped him off.
Then I got Kayla and we went and got groceries to make vietnamese cold rolls for the family dinner we had.
yada yada the night went by with delicious food and good company. etc etc

MONDAY:
I worked, it sucked cause I was a zombie.

and now im blogging like a champ.

Summer days, summer nights

I think I'm getting sick, which troubles me greatly. Maybe it's just because Ive been in the sun alot this weekend, but i feel just not grand.

Last night was fun tho.
Started at Seans to celebrate his 20th bday. It was finally nice outside to have a backyard party. It was just me and the guys, chillin and such and such.
Haha then Courteny called me and rattled my world by telling me that my old eye candy at work was in the paper celebrating his engagement :( super sad not cool time. Cant oogle a married man, thats just trifling.
Around 8:30 Cortlin and I went to Kyles apartment to watch the UFC fights while waiting for Ben to come in town. His apartment is so god damn nice. the walls were orange and red, and super nice furniture, dark wood kitchen. I was super impressed cause Kyle claims to have done the majority of the decorating.
SO we watched UFC until like 11 :( I've never watched a match in my life, and all of a sudden i watched five. It was scary, I dont like seeing people fight and bleed. I dont understand how they can take that many punches and not cry haha
We were supposed to go to Finns for a few drinks but since it was already so late i was a little reluctant to go. So i took Cortlin to mcdicks and then home cause he had to work the next day.

Then I decided to go down to the Hose, even though the majority of the people I was planning to go with decided to go with other plans. Briefly saw my lovely Britney for a brief moment outside :)
Went in with Liz Jordan Chelsea Kim and Zoe and had a few drinks. At one point the waitress pulled an epic fail and dumped a drink all down chelseas back :(
Danced for like three minutes haha. Saw Shane on the dancefloor, I didnt recognise him at first cause he was so sweaty and looked drunk haha. So I waved to be polite. The good part was he wasnt with a certain somone, but a cute brunetter instead :-p win courteny, win
Then Kim was a dear and took us to mickdicks and then drove me home :)

This morning I went down to midtown to visit Cortlin at work. He showed me all the boiler rooms which was like a horror scene from knightmare on elm street haha. It was really cool though actually. We went up on the roof, which was a little scary, but sweet view

And now im home, tired and tired and tired.
and watching toddlers and tiaras haha

Seeing it rain AGAIN makes me mad

Today was a rage day.
Rachel was gone since yesterday and will be gone for the rest of the week due to family sad times. Not gonna lie, I love it when its just me and courteny sometimes...until its lunchtime. Then having just two people sucks and I turn into a hyper bitch who hates anyone that dare approach the counter and make me do what Im paid to do :(
I wont go into too much detail, mostly because Im over it. But it sucked

Getting home was the best feeling ever. For a brief moment I though I was home alone, although my rents have been back from Europe for a week or so now.

Checked my Chem email and the teacher made me feel pretty confident about how things are going. Compared to how I felt about it all yesterday anyway, which was dismal.
Since getting the MORE shitty news from SIAST i just kinda wanna give up a bit. I know that being wait listed isnt a no, and theres still a chance of going this fall, it just made this whole journey feel like a waste of time.
I havent even told Cortlin yet. Im really worried that he'll think less of me. He wont, I know that. But maybe im just reflecting my own feelings through him. Cause honestly I will think less of me.
Besides telling my family and Courteny, this is as public as Ive gotten with the recent news.
Guess Im just feeling bad for bringing you all on the rollarcoaster that is my education with me haha
I just feel like if it doesnt happen this fall, i fail at life kinda.

Lats night was actually super kick ass.
Went to Cortlins so that the guys could pre-drink. Then around 10:30 we all went downtown to Pacific Billiards to see Courteny and play some pool. And i really like that place. It was huge, with like twenty table and a barand arcade games. I wasnt expecting it to be so wide and open
So we stayed there for a while, had some interesting brutal games of pool haha.

Then we all went to Denny's which was the best idea at the time, but the worst idea cause this morning i felt like crap and then added dim sum on top of it all.
They put us in the corner of the restraunt which was probably a good idea since we were so loud and crazy lol. Doug spilled syrup on Cortlins shirt and then when he went to take a sip of water he was quite disgusted to discover i had put a bunch of salt in it haha. Sean actually shed a tear he was laughing so hard.
The food was ok, but it was a super good time.

Then I dropped of Matt and Cortlin then drove around for an hour. Got home around four, super tired and not sure why i decided to drive around for so damn long >_<

So now im tired and full and I guess ill just do chemistry all day :(
I hope i finish this week. cause im sick of it

Last night was Scratch night :)
Got all dressed up, went to predrink at James'. I mixed vodka with that flavoured water and it was actually super good. I couldnt find any crystal light packages so that was my alternative.
Everyone came out which was sweet. Courteny came, lookin lovely as ever :)
Cortlin was DD which suprised me considering I know how he feels about bars, and even more how he feels about being sober in bars haha. But it was sweet of him to drive.
SO we got to Scratch, it was empty as usual, but that swhat happens when we go early to avoid having to pay. Of course by the time it gets busy I always seem to be too drunk to remember there being anyone else in the bar except for my group of friends.
Tyson was back from his worldy adventures, and he was getting money from everyone to start a get-dave-drunk-off-tequilla fund haha. I think it was rather successful?

Oh and the waitress forgot my drink at one point, so she brought me one for free which was super nice of her. So i chased her down and gave her a tip anyway.

James and Johnny were being awesome as usual and dancing up a storm on the empty dancefloor :)

Sadly I left early. Which im mad at myself for doing, but it needed to. I got a super upsetting text message that I took way too seriously due to to alcohol, so I didnt know what else to do other then leave or risk embarassing myself with unnesesary ness.
Cortlin and I just went back to his house and watched a few episodes of the simpsons. Well he did anyway, I fell asleep curled up on his lap like a sad cat haha.

This morning I woke up and helped my mom with yard work. Which sucks really bad when hungover btw. She had me empty out these 80lb barrels which were old and rotted. and of course they wer efull of rain water so getting all the dirt out was a messy job. Then in one of them a tree had actually grown its root right into it >_< so i had to hack away at the tree before i could get the barrel out.
Got three of those up to the driveway. Gotta take them to the dump eventually.
Then I trimmed tree branches with these giant cutters. Probably got a little carried away, cause half of the braches are gone now haha. Then i weeded a bit, and then i quit and took a two hour nap.

When i woke up again Bob had been a lovely and washed my car.
So i did some chemistry.
and now im hungry and want dimsum. too bad im way too late :(

Weekends go by too fast

I honestly thought I had blogged about this weekend already, but i guess i still have to sigh.

FRIDAY
had ppl over for the BBQ Of Champions. The food part went really good i thought. Burgers were good curtosy of Chris and Cortlins deep fryer made super nummy fries and such. omg AND liz made the most amazing cupcake tree that was supernummy. I showed it to my grandma and she shit a brick haha she thinks its basically the best idea ever.
As the night progressed things got more and more dirty which for some reason bothers me more then anything in the world cause it means im gonna have a shitty morning haha
Sam came, which was the best suprised I could have asked for
we went to the wholesale on Central to get her some booze, and as i get out of the car I guess i dropped my phone in a puddle cause Sam brings it to me in various pieces :(The guy behind teh counter said to put it in a bowl of rice.
Sam was makin fun of my sad phone, and then as we were leaving the store, she drops her brand new phone in the very same puddle haha
poetic justice :)

Went back home, put my phone in rice for the night, which seemed to have worked :) except for th eodd ocassion that phone turns itself off and on randomly :(

Kicked ppl out around one. special thanks to Doug and Boots and Sam and Corltin for staying to help me clean. It made my morning alot easier :)

SATURDAY
woke up around 11 to Cortlin leaving to go climbing at Vics. SO i got up and cleaned my house top to bottom, walls, cupboards, floors etc etc. I had to empty the vaccum three times it was so full of crap haha
Around 1:30 Cortlin, Marge and their family friend Mike came and picked me up to go for sushi. It was pretty delicious, Mike is a cool guy, very funny. Very particular about his sushi though.

Went home, watched Nine cause Courteny lent it to me. It was really good actually .i was wary in the beginning but it got really good. makes me wanna go learn how to dance and join a musical where i can wear sequins. My fav part of the movie was the routine his wife did right before she left him

Cortlin came over after, and i kinda dozed in and out of sleep while he played final fantasy.
Boots came over around 9:30 so they had their bro time of sorts.
I was txt Johnny when he made the brilliant suggestion of going to Winstons for a beer.
It was a good visit, I dont think we've had one on one time in ages, so I was really glad that he asked me to go.
We had a brief run in with A. which was extremely awkward, more so then I think was necessary, but A just has the ability to make me feel like Im in someone elses skin. Just not great. Johnny got Kat to call me and feign an important reason to leave. So unfortunately our visit was cut short but it was still good.

Went back to the house. watched the end of fantasia. Its one fucked up show.
Then we put in step brothers
then i started falling asleep so I just went to bed.

Woke up early ish i think.

then i went and got badass jacks cause i was starving and i have no food:(

I think ill take all of today to work on chemistry...

Job Hunt of Champions

Yesterday I went hunting for a second job. I just need some part time evening work to get more money faster. With this school thing back in motion, I need the money quick.
SO I went and applied at solieo foods, but I doubt that will work cause they are only open until seven haha
Then I went to Winstons, where the bartender/supervisor was super super super nice. basically asked when I could start. So I dont know if thats a good sign or not? I hope so, I would be so down to work there :)
I was going to stop at Osheas, but something held me back haha, so maybe this weekend I'll go apply there.
On the way home I applied at Athenas too, cause they had an add in the paper for servers.

Got home, then Cortlin came over to help me organise this BBQ thing which is totally gonna be an indoor BBQ haha. which makes me sad, but Im determined to do it anyways.
Just plz ppl, leave my major appliances alone haha. One dead stove is enough.

Watched some TV
did a bunch of chemistry which is grand. I love that I dont have to re-write the notes cause ive already done it before.

Went to bed around 11
Woke up at four from a super shitty dream.
It wasnt a nightmare, but it just...made me sad haha.
So I didnt really sleep after that.

But you know what?
It;s all gonna be ok
cause we serve salmon today :)

when Iasked her why i was rejected she said that she never got my proof of enrollment in chemistry.
To which I said, hells no, i went out THAT DAY, back in febuary and got them to send Cindy and I acopy of the proof email.
SO cindy was like "OH, well just send me that email and I'll give you your spot back"
IT WAS THAT FREAKING EASY

so i looked at the email that cyber school had sent me and turns out that they spelled cindy's email wrong, so thats why she never got it. bitches.

Lazy Sundays

yesterday wasn't a bad day by any means, but it really wasnt a super great day tho. It went on and off I guess.
Started at about 6:45 when the phone rang. I answered to a lady telling me that she was from Royal University Hospital and she had my grandmother and was about to discharge her. Since Doug left for home the night before, I was the lucky duck who got to go and pick her up in the rain haha.
Lucky I know RUH pretty well from working there, so finding ERC wasnt a problem.
Grandma was all smiles and yet complained the whole way back to the care home. Got her back in bed and then went home where I went straight back to bed.

Woke up an hour or so later, craving cinnamon buns like crazy. So I went to the grocery store and got those along with some hair dye that I think I'll accomplish tonight if I feel like it. With my skin somewhat tanning, I want my dark hair back for a while.

After I had my nummy bun, I took a nap haha. Cortlin was super super super hung over and playing final fantasy so I had weird dreams about it.

Then we decided that we wanted to BBQ a few of the burgers that I had in my freezer. It was raining haha but that kinda made the whole process more fun. So that was delicious.
Then Cortlin went home to see his dads new nisan convertible, which im super jealous of :(

I lounged on the couch until I got a phonecall from Securtec. Apparently my late grandpa's house alarm had been going off all day because of a low temperature thingy that was messed up. So they asked me to go check it out, which sucked. I didnt know if i had their house key, and I had no clue what the alarm code was if I was to set it off :(
SO i went anyway, walked around the property a few times, didnt see any windows. The keys i brought were the wrong ones, so I just called the security company and explained that I couldnt get in but everything looked ok. So i assume that thats all i can do until Bob gets home.

Went and got a soy hazelnut latte from mystic java cause i felt i deserved it haha

Went back home, and randomly decided to google Manhattan real estate. Holy shit that place is expensive. There was a bachelor apartment that costs more then my house >_< a bachelor apartment with a doorman haha

And then I watched Time Travellers Wife. It was better the first time I saw it.

today I plan on burning off every horrible food ive eaten in the past week. and being outside cause for once its not raining.

Quick recap of the weekend
FRIDAY: you all know, Coco got too drunk too fast and for some silly reason I agreed to take him home at ten. Next time im just gonna call curtis >_<
SATURDAY: went for sushi downtown at new island. it was delicious. went garage sailing with Britney, i was unsuccessful although she found some cool stuff :) Then went to James' to watch the bros wash cars. Then I went for drinks. Then went to James' fire partay. Then went to Beilys with Kat Andrea and Sarah, met up with Hilah and Lacey. It was a pretty good time :)
SUNDAY: went to bareass with my love Lizzy :) it was glorious. there was a huge dust storm that missed us so we just listened to the huge crowd vanish in the dust a scream haha. We were there for a couple of hours when everyone else showed up, so unfortunately I didnt last very long, burned my shoulders:( Liz and I stopped for a quick burger at deliciosu fudruckers, then I went home to sleep :)

Rain rain, go away

So i've decided that it's time to start applying for a part time evening jobto make more money. I'm thinking that I will start with Winstons, Osheas, and Maguires haha. Winstons would be epic, not gonna lie.

Oh, so yesterday was Mom Day and so I made my mom take me to Homesense where I bought the orange cabinet with the mirror doors that I had seen on Sat :)

BUt oh man, I'm so in love with this thing guys. I'm gonna try and get a picture of it up so you can share in my love for it

For supper Cortlin came up with the idea to suprise our moms by taking them to supper at Moxies. So we did that :)
It was super nice. I was nervous that it would be awkward cause they havent really talked since grade school, but I should have remembered that my mothers social skills far surpass my own haha. It was lots of fun actually. We ordered a bottle of wine, really good food too. Oh, and Leah Pawluk was our hostess :) so she was extra lovely to us.

Today was Courteny's last day at work before she goes off on her adventures to France :( Im gonna miss her, as I guess Sarah is going to be working with me. I love Sarah, but shes asked me to do the closing shift which just makes me rage.I hate that shift with a passion!
I was looking forward to getting off at three and being able to use the gym while it was quiet

I love love love the design by humans one, and the rain rain cant touch my swag shirt just makes me laugh. So im pretty happy with it all

I olnly blog on weekends now, and it sucks. Cause it means I have nothing interesting to write about during the week, sigh sad

I'll start with Thursday I suppose. I went to go and watch Fringe at Cortlin's as per tradition. But before we could start it Ben calls with a lot of background noise saying Cortlin must come to Maguires and get super hammered. So we went there for a while. I feel bad cause I'mso badwith names, all I remember are Ben the boxer, Josh the sweet dude who introduced me to long island iced tea, and aaron the boy who didnt say a word all night.
No drinking went on much besides the one which was good as it was a week day. Just visited. Ben is a bit of a slut (his words, not mine) but Im pretty much 100% sure that he has a heart of gold haha. He claims that his promiscuity is his own way of trying to find the perfect woman. He has a six year old son, who he paused the drinking to go call and say goodnight to. Cute :)
After about an hour we went back to Cortlins to watch Fringe. It was a half decent episode

Friday right after work I quickly got ready then a bunch of us went to see Iron Man. It was pretty good. Scarlett Johansan is pretty much hot as hell and I think she may have replaced Megan Fox as my girl crush haha
After the movie I went to havea couple of drinks at Cortlins while we waited for Sam to come. watched discovery channel and got my ass kicked when I tried to snoop in the computer room to try and figure out what Cortlins halloween costume is. No such luck.

Got to Landons, then Liz came and Sam :)
Sam has pretty much the most sexy new car of all time. I am quite jealous. Its a chevy equinox i believe, brand new, gorgeous white. Sam has her adult car already, at 19!! gah my mind is still blown that shes moving to 100 mile house :( I'll have to google map it so I can visit...

Liz Sam and I then went to relive a loved tradition, Hot n Readys haha. So we sat in her car, caught up on some stuff. It was a little taste of nostalgia that i needed.
SO then we went back to Landons, they both went home.
About an hour later Boots Cortlin and I walked to his house, started to watch a bit of a movie but I fell asleep. Around three I decided to call a cab cause Boots had walked home and Coco was passed out for the night.
On the taxi ride home the lady who was driving was under the assumption that I had picked up a boy at the bar and she was aiding in my drive home of shame. So then she proceeded to tell me about all her sexual escapades when she was my age. It was a pretty damn good convo

Sat morning I online window shopped haha. Basically put all this stuff into a shopping cart and then didnt buy any of it. Go me and my new found self control.

Then I went for sushi.
ate too much sushi
then wandered the city until six

went to Lasenza cause i heard that the Stonebridge one had bathing suits? Didnt find any.
Then I went over to the walmart superstore. didnt get anything
went to HomeSense and found this dresser that im pretty sure Im gonna have to go back and buy today haha. Its orange. .pumpkin bright ass orange, and I love it. I need it. Its gonna happen. All i need is moms big trunk cause it wont fit in my car.
Then i went to Petland and fell in love with this big fat bulldog puppy haha.
Then I went to winner, where there was this mom with her four daughters and every time they came out of the changeroom she would take like five pictures, and every second sentence was "Thats so fierce". I wanted to murder her. It made my moms line "Thats juicey" about 100 times less annoying.

Then I went home. had steak with the fam jam
helped Bob build a chair haha.

I was supposed to meet Hilah and Lacey at Beileys at 11:30 so i decided to go and watch a movie before.
I fell asleep
woke up at midnight when Courteny texted me. Felt like the biggest jerk on the planet when I bailed.

so i feel bad about that.

Watchin you grow

The weekend was quite excellent actually.
Friday was Courteny's bday so we all went to Scratch. I got way too drunk :( losing my camera was punishment for my behaviour. Im supre pissed tho, cause there was some really sweet pics on there too :(

Sat i was sad face. So Cortlin and I went for dim sum, which I was worried was gonna come back up like the last time I ate it hung over :( but it stayed down which was good because as soon as I got home Bob toldme to go and get Cortlin and Matt to come and help clear out part of my grandpas basement which had flooded a bit.
So we went over there, and while the guys did all of the heavy lifting I vaccumed and then wandered around my grandpas house, feeling rather strange about being in there since he passed. I found some really awesome retro chairs that mom and Bob say I can have when they sell the house, along with the dining room table.
I went through some of his old records as well, and found the original "I want a hippopotamus for christmas" so I played that like nine times :) Its epic. I love records
Of course as soon as we finish (ok as soon as Matt and Cortlin finish) putting all the garbage into the trucks, Bob somehow gets us to drive the stuff to the dump. He gave both Cortlin and Matt a 26 of whiskey to thank them for thier hard work lol.
So we went to the dump. my first time there since I was like seven. I felt like such a pampered brat when I had no clue whether or not the guy in the orange jumpsuit was gonna unload the truck for me haha.
After that we went to BK, had a delicious victory burger, and then went home.

I took a quick nap before going and picking those two up again, then we went to Johnnys for a wicked sweet partay.
James got back from Costa Rica :) I missed that kid lots, although i hate him for tanning like a pro. I kinda gave up on tanning, my skin just rejects it.
So we partied, well, i partied sober haha. Had some good laughs with all my fav ppl.
Oh and Liz Kim and I went and got HotnReadys which just about made me the happiest camper on this here planet. Havent had them in ages.

Sunday I woke up and pretty much showered, packed for Regina and left
Got there around four. went for supper with Kayla at the Regina version of New Island. Ours is better, and way cheaper.
Then we randomly decided that we wanted to find a bakery. But we couldnt so we settled for this place that shared a space with subway that sold frozen yogurt pies haha. so Kayla bought us a pie and we went back to her dorm and ate a bit of it. It was sub par

Oh! THEN we picked up Ozzie and went to see Nightmare on Elm Street. If i hadnt seen the original version of this movie I probably would have liked it, but compared to the original it was stupid. The main character Nancy went from being a bubbly curly haired chick to this semi-emo girl with a subtle lisp.
And Freddy went from being a psycho power engineer killing machine, to a gardener who liked to molest children haha. Cortlin was none impressed when he heard that.
The visuals were good tho, and I liked how it gave way more background info on Freddy.

Monday morning I was woken up by Kaylas stupid dorm ppl who thought slamming doors would be just swell.
SO i got up, put on my dress and fancy stuff then we had a quick walk to tim hortons then mcdonalds for various breakfast munchies.

Around Ten i headed out to the RCMP depot for Sam's graduation :)
oh man, I cried, not gonna lie. Itold myself that i wouldn't, but as soon as she was introduced as a new memeber of the real deal RCMP i teared up. Im seriously so proud of that girl :) shes got her life together, and shes all grown up and movin out into the world :) gah, im so so proud :)
After the paper signing ceremony we had a quick lunch, then there was a parade where Sam's troup went from their cadet gear to the official RCMP outfits, all red and fancy. I felt so patriotic watching then march all over the place haha
Then we got to see them to a drill, which blew my mind, ill try and post the video i took
Then they got thier badges :)

Dint know my arms were stupid noodles until now

Yup, my arms are pretty much a useless apendage at this point. I went wall climbing with Johnny and Josh and I did two climbs and started to feel like I wanted to give up. Got stuck on this white route that I really want to accomplish on friday Johnny. Its my goal in life now.
Feels good to have a goal haha

Today went by fast.
Lunch was freakin delicious, although because of it being so delicious it made me break nearly all my food rules. :(

Im super excited to see Courteny tomorrow :)
and im pumped to go to the Branch, which is a huge shock for me
And then Im even more pumped for Friday cause I get to go to scratch!
Yeah :) Im just plain excited now

except my tummy hurts from climbing?
dunno why. not my tummy tummy. But like to the left. I guess you could call it a rib haha

Today was the first day back at Concourse after a week off that flew by. I wasnt sure what the deal was with who was gonna be there and such so I went super early only to find out that Hilah was there and then Bev called me to say that I would be closing for the week. Boo. So I worked like a nine hour shift today. Im definently keeping track tho, cause I imagine they wll try to weasle their way out of paying me for it :-p

It was pretty sweet spending the day with Hilah though, shes an entertaining gal :) we talked about the departure of Amber alot, cause I guess she was giving Hilah alot of sass last week? who knows.

I miss Courteny tho :( you missed a super shitty lunch tho love. They served an Australian burger, which I guess in Boffins terms is interpreted as a cheeseburger with pineapple and pickled beets on it >_< neither of which seem very Austrailian at all.

Considering it was a long shift, it went by pretty fast :) after work I went and dropped off the money I owed Liz with her at Jordans house. Got to visit with them for a while which was nice :) I miss Edmonton already :(

So then I went home, was about to work out when I got distracted by this website called bigcartel.com
Its basically this massive site where artists post links to their websites where they sell everything from vintage jewelry to wicked sweet shirts to baby clothes haha. So I got this one top that says "Rain Rain cant shake my swag" or something like that that made me smile.
Also got a tshirt from DesignbyHumans. of a tree shooting out of a gun lol. So I caught up on some of the shopping that I didnt really do in Edmonton.

Then mom and bob came home and wanted to go to Asian House for noodles, but it was closed so we went to shitty Hard Wok on central. I used to really like it, but im kinda picky now which sucks haha. They had good veggies tho

As soon as we got home I ran off to go and pick up Brittney for our big coffee date:) I do enjoy our coffee dates ever so much! I loved catching up, its been a while since we've had a good talk.

But now I should go to sleep.

Edmonton, I think I love you

Just got home from the shortest drive home ever on account of I slept the entire way except for the brief stop in loyd for icecream :)
So the following will be an extensive retelling of all that went down:

Friday:
So it started off with Liz picking my excited ass up from home, then we got Kat and Kayla. Stopped at Tim Hortons on circle for their breakfast, and then we were off. The weather while driving there was so horrible. First it was raining like crazy, then after we got out of Lyodminster it started to sleet then blizzard :( Only when we were about half an hour away from Edmonton did it clear up and get all pretty.
Decided to go to the Olive Garden for supper before checking in. I kinda hated it, not gonna lie haha. The bread was too salty, the garlic in my pasta was overpowering, and I hate when pasta sauce is so greasy its better resembles soup.

Then we hit the LB to get some pre-drinking stuff. Went to the hotel, got all dressed up and caught a cab to White Ave.
I love white ave, its basically a huge broadway with every genre of bar on it. First we went to a pub called the Black Dog. Note to self: don't go back to the black dog haha. I was standing at the bar to get a drink and this short chick in black cargo pants and dirty hair shoulder checked me and gave me the stink eye. So I didnt feel too welcome :(
So we left there and went to Twist. The music was pretty decent, techno and such and the layout was super fancy. But the downside is that everyone who showed up looked like they had just finished watching a marathon of Jersey Shore >_< .
Next stop was one of my favs of the night, Suite 69. The bouncer was standing by this smaller door and a bigger one and I was confused as to which one to go in. He looked like a smaller version of arnold swazenegagtrfsf and he asked me where I wanted to go, and I said Suite 69. Then he pointed to the stairs, and for some reason I asked if it was upstairs to which he laughed and said yes. As i was walking past he stopped me and was like "just so you know, its on the second floor"
-_- gee thanks. So i think he thought i was pretty dur. The music there was super good tho. Some of the best remixes of old and new songs i've ever heard.

Last stop of the night was The Iron Horse. Its pretty much a larger version of the skuz haha typical top 40s music. The layout of the place was super awesome tho, second floor and everything. Oh, and of course the dancefloor had a stripper pole.
While we were waiting in line to get in this guy named Stewart started talking to us. He was pretty cool at the time, 24, tattoos all over, mohawk type thing. When we went to the bar to get a drink he bought us all a shot, so thats how our friendship of sorts began haha. His one friend Evan was very very very fond of Kat :) So they pretty much did their own thing and talked/danced all night. Everyone exchanged numbers by the end of the night and we planned to meet up again the next night.

Saturday:
For some horribble reason, whenever I drink I always wake up stupid early, no matter how late I go to bed. That morning was no different. I was up at 7 a.m. :( so I took a shower, and no one was up yet so I went for a walk downtown, called my sister for an early monring chat. And still no one was up haha.
Eventually everyone got up and we headed to west ed to do some mad shoppin :) I didnt get as much a s i thought I would have. a couple of top, a dress, jacket and belt. But it was enough for one day I suppose. After spending like six hours there we went over to the area where Ikea is, stopped at FatBurger for the most delicious burger of all time! SO good. Then we cruised Ikea, and I got a set of kitchen cooking utensils haha oh random purchases.

Went back to the hotel, got all dolled up and went to the one place I had promised Iwould go to at least once in my life; the stripclub. We went to this place called Dimonda Gentlemens club. Apparently its about as classy as you can get in Edmonton. basically it wasnt as bad as one would expect. I wanted to hug the stripper named Britney, she just got yelled at by such nasty looking dudes :( but instead we tossed loonies at a bucket she held between her oh so naked legs and we won a couple of posters haha. I love playin games, its like a mature version of gambing at the Ex.

After that we drove back to the hotel, the walked over to The Bank ultra lounge/bar haha. It was pretty decent i suppose. The dancefloor was toosmall, and every seating area upstairs seemed to be VIP so no one could sit anywhere. They had this winding staircase into the basement tho, and as soon as you went down you were in the dark, the music had a whole new feel to it. I liked it down there :) we got to chill.

Stewart and Dallas and Evan showed up too. So Kat was pretty smitten :)
So we drank and visited with them until midnight then it was LIZ'S BIRTHDAY!!!! haha so it was down to buisness and she had to do like five shots in five minutes :) So after that my lovely was pretty done and ready to go.
Kayla, Liz and I went back to the hotel. Kat stayed at the Bank with Evan. Kayla was tired and went to bed so Liz and I decided to go on an adventure. We walked alot farther then I thought we did haha. Liz kept saying how she wanted pizza, and I was super bummed cause nothing was opened at 2 in the morning haha. Im used to being in Stoon where when you get out of the bar theres a few places within walking distance to go and eat something.
Then, like a miracle, we found a pizza place that was open haha. So we went there, some old guy questioned the awesomeness that was my headband. Got some sub par pizza that later made me feel yucky.
Then we went back to the hotel. Kat came home. Went to bed

Sunday:
Woke up
got tim hortons
drove home
end story haha

All in all it was a super good weekend :)
