Hello blog. How have you been the past two weeks? I hope you are well rested.
Got back from the trip on wed night. It was a bitter sweet return. I was happy to be at home to see all those I love, but I instantly missed the excitement of seeing something new everyday.
I think my quote for the trip was
"I didn't think it'd be this big."
Followed by Brittney telling me to stop underestimating Europe haha.
I knew everything would be huge and gorgeous and wonderful. But you can't really prepare yourself for the first time you see Big Ben, or the Eiffel Tower, or St. Peters church, or the Pantheon. It just forces you to stop in awe.
I loved every city for a different reason, but I must say that I left my heart in Paris. There was just something about the place that I can't get out of my mind.
Rome had the best food though haha. Hands down. I miss Centurion already, the resteraunt we went to practically every night. If you are ever in Rome, go there. Piazza del Popolo. Go now.
The long weekend was awesome though. Went to Greenwater with everyone.
I think I spent 60% of the time sleeping due to me getting over my cold and jet lag. But it was fun. Lots of sun, perhaps too much booze. Chris' mom rocked my world though with her hospitality and cooking.
Ugh, why must it be back to reality already!?!?!
